Our tuk tuk drivers met us at our hotel and we were off on a fun ride through Budapest. There were four of us so we had two drivers, Greg and Gabrielle. They were both knowledgeable and passionate about their country. They took turns at each stop explaining what we were seeing and the importance to Hungary. You get a perspective from the tuk tuk you don't get any other way and they can go where cars and buses might not. In addition they tailored our tour around other tours we had planned so as not to duplicate. Definitely recommend!

Our driver communicated clearly with us and was prompt and gave perfect instructions on where to meet. I was so impressed that when we were bumped off of our flight at the very last minute and arrived six hours later on a different flight, he still picked us up and didn’t cancel. He was so nice about the whole thing and we were so grateful he worked with us on the last minute arrival time change! Highly recommend!

Great experience! We were delighted to learn that we were the only 2 in the group so Vivian gave us a private tasting. She is extremely knowledgeable about Hungarian wine and also informative about the region’s wine. She is friendly and gave us great recommendations for other tourist sites and restaurants. Tried to call to confirm night before. No contact number. Help number given was not related to this at all. Company was great but driver unhappy because he had to take bags up to the street and Viking was using the luggage belt. They told us to wait in the lobby.

We had a private luxury sightseeing tour in Budapest and visited Szentendre, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Christine Teplan, was fantastic — incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and made everything feel easy and personalized. You can tell she really knows the history and the area, but she explains it in a way that’s interesting, not overwhelming. I would absolutely recommend her. Our driver, Laszlo, was also great — very professional and made the whole experience smooth and comfortable. Szentendre itself was charming and a perfect escape from the city — beautiful streets, relaxed atmosphere, and great places to walk, eat, and explore. Overall, it was a seamless, well-run experience and I’d absolutely recommend it.

Zoli , our fabulous guide, was great! Animated, full of knowledge and also had all those little facts and antidotes we all love. As we visited Buda and Pest, expect a fair amount of walking and we also used the metro and bus. For info, over 65s can travel for free, you just need to carry ID, I had bought a 3 day pass Like many, we book a tour to both learn and help us decide on where we want to visit afterwards. You’ll be spoilt for choice, Budapest has a fascinating history and surprisingly tough rules for drivers! Thank you to Zoli for a great afternoon

We stopped at several major landmarks for photos and short stories about each place, which really helped bring Budapest’s history to life. The guide was flexible with the itinerary and managed to offer a clear snapshot of the city’s charm in a short amount of time. If you’re on a tight schedule, this tour covers a lot — fast, intense, and still comfortable. Definitely worth it.
