Hollie was our tour guide, she was fabulous and very informative we learnt lots about the local culture, we stopped for lunch at Kies Winery and had a delicious lunch. So much to enjoy from Wine and Gin tasting to chocolate and cheese. Definitely would recommend.
Fantastic experience, Amanda has a great personality and was full of local knowledge! Lots of jams and chocolate for sale also. I recommend the cheese plater for lunch, or the lamb pie looked good 😋.
You get to see the beautiful countryside, sample different wines, meet friendly locals and their produce.
The driver ‘Jerry’ was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable which made the experience more enjoyable to us and everyone in our group.
Trip filled with interesting highlights, Amanda was the perfect host (and driver). Would recomend this tour to the Barossa as value for money.
Holly from Benders Bus Tours excellent tour guide and very accommodating. Gourmet lunch disappointing. Hahndorf quaint town.
Tour operator Jerry was awesome very informative easy going didn't push time made the day simply brilliant
A very enjoyable small group tour. Hahndorf was a particularly lovely village...a must do. Jerry our tour driver was friendly, informative & patient. The Kiers Cellar door was a great experience. Our host Sheila invited us to try anything we asked for at no trouble. Lunch equally, at the Monkey Nut cafe was very tasty. On the way we popped into Melba's Chocolate which brought back memories, with old school treats like Licorice blocks, aniseed rings & many many more delights.
Thoroughly enjoyable day out.
We were picked up at our hotel on time and the tour guide introduced herself as Amanda and once on the road she was very informative about Adelaide and the route we were on.
The bus driver was very interactive and informative. It was a small group allowing personal service.
This was a wonderful way to discover more about Adelaide. We had a professional, kind, and patient driver who guided us and took us to every stop along the way. Thank you, Hermet!
It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet other people and exchange experiences. I 100% recommend this tour. The breathtaking scenery alone made it worthwhile. The visit to the charming German village was a delight, with plenty of unique shops to explore. The two Barossa wineries were fantastic, offering excellent wines in beautiful settings. I absolutely loved the experience!
A beautiful day full of activities.Hahndorf amazing, wineries and lunch delightful.Beerenberg ,cheese and chocolate tours as well.A enjoyable day with a very knowledgeable young host Hermit
The day was so much fun and our Guide Amanda was so knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend this tour
I really liked and enjoyed the WINE part of this tour. Hanhndorf, the jam factory and the cheese and chocolate factory were a little too 'disney' for me- especially Hahndorf. I am sure there are others who would love those. The wine tastings were a great way to learn more about the Barrosa valley and its wines, and I could have done with maybe one more of those added to the tour instead of the non-wine stuff. A special shout out to our guide Jerry, who was very personable, and a found of interesting and relevant info on all that we were seeing and experiencing.
Fun family event. It could use more/better wineries. Our tour guide was nice, although he really wasn’t interested in wine.
Wonderful day out very relaxing our driver Jerry was very knowledgeable about the areas we traveled and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this tour.
I cannot recommend this tour group enough! Coming from Sydney, we had such an enjoyable experience, especially thanks to our tour guide and amazing driver, Holly. We loved that we got to stop at so many different places and experience so much of the Adelaide Hills. Holly was incredibly knowledgeable about every place we visited and made the whole day even more enjoyable.
It was an amazing tour, and we even made new friends with people from all over Australia. It was definitely worth the price, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Adelaide!
Holly was our guide on this great day out. We certainly covered some ground but it was a great mix of things to do. Our visit to Handorf was our favourite, and Holly put us right on where to go, including the pretzels and nutcrackers. Great to have a table waiting for lunch and for wine tastings booked in. Thank you, Holly!
Great experience! Annil from Benders Bus Tours went above and beyond great knowledge and the best costumer service. Highly recommended !
was a really great day, lunch was great, I really didn't like the last winery was kinda a anti climax to an awesome day. Also only got 2 wine tastings not 3, whole idea of going to the Barossa is to try wine...
Was a very relaxed day and Holly and Mike were great guides. The wine tasting was good, and the jam factory was an eye opener.
Weather plays a big part in the experience. We had a glorious day and great views from a quick stop at Mt. Lofty (often under cloud). Our tour was on a public holiday, so sadly a lot of shops closed at Strathalbyn, a town with beautiful old stone buildings. Again, at Hahndorf, many shops were closed but the scones from the bakery were exceptional. An hour really wasn’t enough time to explore. The two wine tastings were interesting.
If you want to learn about the very rich and interesting history of the area I suggest you go with another business. Our guide gave us very little history compared to others we have been with. His English was hard to understand and he couldn’t answer any questions about the areas we travelled through, we had to use AI to find out what he should have known. I was disappointed as I wanted my family to experience what we have in the past with others companies.
This was a great day trip to Hahndorf and the Barossa region. Lovely lunch. Annil our driver and guide was knowledgeable about the history of the regions and had lots of stories to tell. Lots of opportunities to taste chocolate, cheese and of course wines of the region. Excellent value.
We were lucky to have only 5 guests on the day tour. Great guide, great lunch and great wineries. Would certainly recommend the company who took us.
Great day out , our driver/ guide was very knowledgeable., friendly & made the day out. Enjoyed all the venues & places we visited. Throughly recommended.
Such a lovely day. I had a small group and our Tour guide Amanda was so accommodating, friendly and knew heaps about the history of Adelaide and the wineries. Would highly recommend this trip
Variety of places to see, comfortable transport, knowledgeable tour guide, very responsive to individual needs
Great leisurely day out with our friendly, informative guide Hollie. Plenty of time to explore Hahndorf, strawberry picking, two wine tastings at different vineyards, tasty lunch and more. Highly recommend.
Fun tour would just revise a couple stops. Eliminating the strawberry stop, cheese & chocolate stops would allow another 45 minutes in Hahndorf.
Well organised trip which is very good value for money. 2 great wine tastings and lovely lunch. Excellent stop at Handoff German village, with enough time to have a look around without feeling bored. Very highly recommended

It’s great that you found the perfect balance between our curated wine tastings and having enough independent time to explore the charm of the Hahndorf German village.
