Pedal Power for Fabulous Views and Highlights of Victoria

Pedals Bicycles were fabulous to work with. I had to cancel a tour and Jordan (owner) was kind enough to let me rebook a later tour. Our Tour Guide, Taylor, was very informative and kept us safe the whole way with great cycling safety tips. Pace was perfect for the group. Learned a LOT and had great fun!!

Great tour for first time...

Great tour for first time visitors! Our guide, Mark, was a vast reservoir of fun facts and info about the community past and present. The time at the gardens was a little short, but that just makes me want to come back again. It would be great if there was water available on the bus, but not a big deal that it wasn’t. I appreciate that Mark was so accommodating- he offered to drop us off in Chinatown or Old Town, and even at our hotel. I also liked that it’s a smaller tour- max 14 people on a smaller bus. Great tour and a really good value!

A Great Activity

Check in was easy peasy. Great directions for return also. Only one suggestion: It would have good to have a heads up about the butterfly sanctuary so we had time to decide to get off the bus and then return to the next bus to go the rest of the way to Bushart Gardens.

Our private city tour of Victoria, BC was absolutely wonderful! Our host and driver Heike was humorous, thorough, accommodating, friendly, and incredibly personable. She even contacted us before pickup to introduce herself, answer any questions we might have, and confirm our pickup location—which was just one of SEVERAL thoughtful touches. Heike was extremely informative throughout the tour and made the experience both interesting and fun. One of our favorite little surprises was that she even brought peanuts so we could feed the local peacocks. Heike went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and her friendly personality made the tour feel like we were exploring the city with a friend. I would highly recommend Heike to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, accommodating, and genuinely wonderful tour guide. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Day of empowerment and overcoming fear!

I highly recommend this activity and specifically this tour. The guides are amazing, the course so beautiful. I have had a height phobia since I was little and these ladies were kind, encouraging and made me feel safe during the zip lining tour. I was went for my daughter but also was empowered to have completed the course in spite of my crazy fears! 2 thumbs up!!

Great tour with John

We had a great time with John on our private evening tour in Victoria! We had a group of 10, and the van was fantastic. It can hold up to 19 people, so with just 10 of us, there was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The van was very comfortable, and the price was really reasonable — only $660 for our whole group, plus the admission to Butchart Gardens. John gave us a beautiful drive up the coast on the way to Butchart Gardens, which took about 40 minutes. When we arrived, he walked in with us and gave us a quick overview of the gardens and helped us get oriented. We were originally supposed to have an hour and a half at Butchart Gardens, but our group decided we’d rather have more time to explore Victoria. An hour was actually plenty of time for us to see the gardens, and John was very flexible and worked with what our group wanted to do. John was friendly, easygoing, and very accommodating. We really enjoyed having a private tour instead of being on a big bus with a large group. Everything went smoothly, and it was a great way to see some of the area. We would definitely recommend John and would happily book another tour with him!

Wonderful Day Around Victoria and Butchart Gardens

We had a wonderful day with Alan as our guide. We went to the Butchart Gardens for a couple hours, and then Alan showed us some other fun places around Victoria. I feel like we got a really good overview of the city, suburbs, parks, and mountain views around Victoria. I would highly recommend that you try to get Alan as your guide - super nice, flexible and knowledgeable!

Cassidy was very polite and friendly host for our event. however, the weather was a bit chilly and I would advise others to dress appropriately. also the place is not near the cruise dock and the cab charged us flat fee of $15 each way. we prefer this to booking in groups where 25 people get toured. in our situation, as it got cold, we asked Cassidy to take a shortcut back to home which may not have been possible in a group ride.

Rocky start but great overall

We were supposed to go to Cowichan valley, but the Malahat had an accident and we would have been delayed several hours, so our guide pivoted and arranged 2 wineries and a cidery in Saanich. It was a great trip. Guide was very informative. Both vineyards were great. The cidery was good but the staff there could have been a little more informative.
