A good way to spend the day in the area.
The trip and Emanuel our tour guide was great in spite of the weather that day. If you are not a big shopper the time in Annecy is very adequate.

Try it, you’ll enjoy it
From start to finish Gabrielle was courteous, communicative and provided us with great details about our journey to Annecy.

Very nice guided walking tour of Annecy and Geneva Old Town
Very nice guided walking tour of charming Annecy and Geneva Old Town. We enjoyed the wonderful Trolley ride around Geneva Old Town. Gained insights of the various World headquarters in Geneva.

Anency Tour
First, take the extra and do the Lake Geneva cruise and old town tour. Antonio was great. Could not ask for a better guide. Anency was a beutiful place to visit, but as on other tours, time passes too quickly.

Very good value for the money.
Very good value for the money. There are four different segments. The bus tour to Annecy, Geneva city tour, mini train tour and finally a Lake Geneva small boat tour. All worthwhile, especially good to start your time in Geneva to get oriented to the layout of the city.

Annecy is so-so
This tour is hyped more than it should be. Yes, Annecy is beautiful but the cost was higher than necessary.
We enjoyed the scenery and the time to do shopping there. The boat ride on Lake Geneva was great. The mini-train ride through town wasn't much to brag about.

Great trip for the first time visitors!
Excellent choice if you want to briefly! visit the magnificent town of Annecy and get the taste of Savoie region. If you want to relax and enjoy both the town scene and! the lake area - tough luck(. Not enough time.
The Geneva part of tour is sufficient, satisfactory, and somewhat tricky due to unpredictable traffic. The lake tour part with the boat is very nice and picturesque, but no guide. Btw, our guide Gabriel was a very sweet and knowledgable man. He was very positive and accomodating.

Good Tour For Price
It’s a long day, well worth the price. It’s a bit of physical activity meaning having stamina & endurance. Got to see a lot of the two cities.

Great tour guide with fun info, nice tour around old town, but still enough time to do your own thing.

Amazing trip
The history of Annecy and the market were amazing. The history was rich and the market where local people produced their items presented the dynamic of the community. We enjoyed asking people about their products and learned about their specialties. Gabriel was terrific with his stories and historic knowledge. We were so impressed with his professionalism and humility.

People Also Ask
How do you tour Lake Geneva?
The most popular way to tour Lake Geneva is by sightseeing cruise. Most depart from the Swiss lake towns of Geneva, Lausanne, and Montreux, but there are also some from Évian-les-Bains on the French shores. Daytime cruises with commentary—and even aperitif and dinner cruises—are among the options.
What do you wear to Lake Geneva?
What you wear depends on the season. Lake Geneva is close to the Alps in central Europe, so expect warm summers and cold winters. Light layers and sun hats are good for summer cruises, with bathing suits for swimming on a lake beach. In winter, bring a warm, windproof coat.
What is the best month to visit Lake Geneva?
Lake Geneva buzzes with life in summer from June to August, and—for many—these are the best months to visit. Boats and paddle boats buzz about, while campers, festivals, and games of pètanque bring color to the shores. In winter, there are fewer crowds and fewer things to do.
Do you need a guide for Lake Geneva?
No, you don't need a guide for Lake Geneva. But, if you're making the lake a stop on a bigger European tour, a guided day trip helps you visit in the most time-efficient way with transportation already organized. Guided tours are available for Lake Geneva landmarks like Chillon Castle, too.
What do you see on a Lake Geneva tour?
Since most Lake Geneva tours are cruises, what you see depends on the boat's departure point. Cruises from Geneva offer views of the famous Jet d'Eau and the bustling lakefront, while Lausanne and Montreux cruises often pass the Lavaux vineyards and Chillon Castle. Wherever you depart from, views of the mountains, the surrounding Swiss countryside, and the manicured gardens that line the shore are guaranteed.
How much does a Lake Geneva tour cost?
The cost of Lake Geneva tickets for a cruise can vary. Basic hour-long sightseeing cruises with round-trip routes can start from around CHF$15, while tours that include a cruise and land-based sightseeing are more expensive. Some Lake Geneva tours include extra attraction visits or guided commentary or drinks, which can push up prices, too.
