An Unforgettable Tour, Made Exceptional by Fritz
Without a doubt, this was one of the most outstanding tours we’ve ever experienced. The small, intimate group made it feel personal and relaxed, but it was our guide, Fritz, who truly elevated the day. His warmth, kindness, and genuine passion for sharing his knowledge created an experience that was both engaging and effortless from start to finish. The level of service was faultless—thoughtful stops at iconic landmarks, insightful commentary along the way (without giving too much away), and a constant sense that everything had been carefully considered for our enjoyment. Hallstatt itself was nothing short of magical, but the optional cable car ride into the Austrian mountains was a true standout and an absolute must-do. A perfectly paced, beautifully guided tour that we will remember for a very long time.

History and views
My husband is a WWII historian and this trip was on his bucket list. The views are stunning in a sober contrast to what planning must have taken place here. There was a nice trip into the town after to get some food and shop a bit. Everything was efficient and well organized.

Five-star tour, challenging day
This is undoubtedly a five-star tour. While I rated it five stars, the particular day we took it felt more like a four-star experience due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control. The weather was exceptionally hot, and Salzburg’s roads were heavily congested because of preparations for a local festival. As a result, there were moments when it was a little harder to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. Those temporary challenges aside, I would absolutely recommend this tour. Learning the fascinating stories behind the locations, visiting the iconic filming sites, and enjoying the guide’s engaging and knowledgeable commentary made for a memorable and worthwhile experience. On a more typical day, I’m sure it would easily live up to its five-star reputation.

An excellent, well...
An excellent, well organised tour. Our tour leader, Fritz, was informative, knowledgeable, interesting and funny too. Our minivan comprised of 8 tourists of different nationality (England, America, Australia and New Zealand). We had a lovely stop at a lake before heading to the mountain and our cable car ride to the top and 5 fingers. The view was amazing and we had the pleasure of watching paragliders taking off over our heads. Our last stop was Hallstatt with plenty of time for lunch, trying the local delicacies and exploring (oh and ice cream). A fantastic day was had by all. Thank you.
