What are people saying about Arc de Triomphe

Amazing View from the Top!
We booked a combo ticket with the Louvre Museum, Seine River Cruise and the Arc De Triomphe. The tunnel to go under the circle was tricky to find, but had a nice treat once inside with a man playing an accordion. It is a long climb (284+ steps) and not for the weary, so bring water and good walking shoes. Once you get there it is a Beautiful view of the city from the top.

The lift has been out of...
The lift has been out of service, so you need to be fit enough to climb almost 300 stairs. The view was worth it, but in the summer heat, it could be a problem for some.

Locating the tickets was a little complicated but otherwise everything was great. I loved that I could do what I wanted at my own pace.

Panoramic views from the Arc!!
Great views! Easy to get to. Easy to check in! Not too difficult to climb stairs but if you are afraid of confined spaces & have difficulty in climbing stairs, you may want to skip because lift was out of order.

People enjoying the view of Arc de Triomphe, Paris
  • Use the pedestrian underpasses beneath Place Charles de Gaulle to reach the arch. Do not attempt to cross the roundabout—Paris’ busiest traffic circle—on foot.

  • The viewing terrace is not wheelchair-accessible. An elevator goes part way up the arch, but visitors must still climb 46 steps to access the top.

  • Arc de Triomphe tickets are for timed entry.

  • Book skip-the-line tickets in advance to beat the crowds.

  • Be sure to bring a camera to capture the Parisian skyline.
