A Worthwhile Tour of Grand Central Station

It's a great tour, learning all about the history of the building in addition to things people wouldn't necessarily know or notice as they traverse the building on their way to a train or subway. There is quite a bit of walking and stairs to climb but you get to see parts of the station that, again, you might not know exist (like a tennis court!). Our tour guide was very informative and kind, making sure we could hear him and were comfortable as we walked about.

This was a fast paced and informative tour of an elegant building and the history of the time. We loved every minute. There is stair climbing to be aware of. Bill of Untapped New York gave an excellent overview of the Homes and Plyerd of the Gilded Age of Manhattan , replete with scandal and character assassination (OK— a bit overstated— maybe a sign of our own times). A two hour, thirty block ramble up Fifth Avenue, learning the logic of historic development of the area’s majestic residences, the creation of Central Park, and the skin care regimen of General Sherman ( his statue, that is). A two hour walk on pretty even paavent, and an engaging activity for the middle of your day. Recommended.

Highly recommended experience

Very informative walking tour of key buildings and public spaces in Midtown Manhattan. We traveled with our two kids, 11 and 14, and our guide, Annabel, was very knowledgeable and at the same time able to adapt the content to engage both us and our kids. We felt like we got deep insights into the architectural history of the area and some insider tips too on places to see that are accessible to the public. A really fantastic experience! The full walking tour was about 3-3.5 hours long but the guide walked at a slow pace so this activity would be accessible for many types of visitors. She also built breaks and rest stops into the tour as needed. Highly recommended!

Amazing Must See!

Excellent tour. Loved the educational experience that was provided along the journey. Emily is amazing and made it a very special outing for the duration of the tour. The DUMBO part of the tour was a very nice add on. My husband and I stayed back and enjoyed lunch at this wonderful pizza spot.

Lower East Side Fun Tour

We really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide, Rob was very knowledgeable and friend. We learned a lot about the history of NY, the waves of immigrants who came and the building. Rob also pointed out a lot of other fun little shops and places to eat along the tour. This was a great way to get to know the Lower East Side and learn more about the history of the growth of NY. Highly recommended.

Sheree was our guide and did a fabulous job showing us around Midtown Manhattan on Valentine’s Day. She was experienced, helpful, and took photos of us in iconic spots. She had extensive knowledge of the sites we visited, and her recommendations were helpful! She went beyond the basics by pointing out additional buildings and landmarks we passed by. Former New Yorker’s visit to One World Trade Center

It was an incredible experience. I went up with my friends (one from out of town, and one born and raised in Queens, I’m from Harlem NY), and it was such an incredible view! In all my years living in New York City, I’m sad I didn’t come sooner! Watching this tower get constructed to see what it is today is surreal. The staff were very friendly, informative, and made you feel welcome. One staff member took a picture for us at the observatory! Definitely will come again. The weather was rainy, but we were still able to see most of the city and surrounding areas. The options in the gift shop looked high quality and I was very tempted to purchase a hat (big 1 train fan). I will definitely be back here!
