First, try to get Silvia Z as your tour guide. Charming woman with excellent English skills, who has lived in Milan most of her life and truly lives her city and knows its history. The tour is a slow, mostly easy 1.5 walk across busy cobblestone roads. Lots of stops to learn history of important things being passed along the way.

The tour was very educational and it was a great opportunity to have quick access to areas others couldn’t since we were in a golf cart. they provided blankets, drinks and we had a clear cover on the golf cart that could be zippered for when it got chilly. Anna is a very good guide. She grew up and lives in Milan and has travel overseas. She knows her stuff. Do not eat before you go. You will eat bread, tomato, beef, risotto and gelatto. You will also have several drinks. It a great event and my wife and I would do it again.

Fabio was a very engaging storyteller! I loved how he engaged by asking us where we are from, allowed questions during the tour and gave fascinating details that left us wanting more! (I was on a previous non-Viator tour for The Last Supper where the tour guide was too focused on getting through the details which made me zone out. So it really shows how much it helps to have a great tourguide.) I’m just sad I missed the Duomo rooftop tour to catch a flight. But he was very helpful as the timing of the floor level tour would help my exit right before they went up. One thing to note- Viator should provide a screenshot of the meeting location. Written instructions aren’t enough when the surrounding area around the Duomo is too much to figure out. They called me as I was looking for the party, which kind of helped.!

She pointed out details and the subtlest nuances of Da Vinci’s painting my hubby & I agreed - we would have never known - nor read about or learned before. We enjoyed a fabulous food tour in the Navagili district of Milan with our fastastic guide, Jessica. Jessica was warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We ate some deliciois food (especially the Milanese Risotto), learned some interesting facts and saw a lovely area of Milan, all while braving the rain together. I highly recommend this tour!
