A great outing made even better with our great guide
Had a great day out with our Driver and Guide, Fiona. Expert and safe driver who showed a true enthusiasm to give information, ensure we all had a great time, she was accessible, personable, informative, and truly wanted us all to enjoy ourselves as much as possible. She was a delight to spend time with, and I would recommend her to anyone. We had a great time at the koala reserve and at thepenguin parade, despite a brief downpour of rain. Everything went great and her ability to get us all back to our best drop- off in rainy weather was very much appreciated. My photos do not include any of the penguin parade as photos are not allowed in order to observe the penguins privacy and natural behavior

Unforgettable experience
Marty was an amazing tour guide! We got to see so many things including koalas, kangaroos and a kookaburra. It was a long day but so much was packed in and I absolutely loved it. Definitely book and make sure you wear sensible clothes because it gets windy on the coast!

Stunning Views + The Best Guide!
Such a memorable day! The Great Ocean Road is stunning, but what made this tour stand out was our guide Bill. He brought the journey to life with history, stories, and fun facts, all while showing genuine pride in his country. You can tell he loves what he does, and it really made a difference.
Highly recommend this tour—and if you get Bill, you’re in for an even better experience!

Must do!
This was a long day but well-planned. There were several stops to break up the trip. Out guide Robbo (who was also the driver) was great. He gave us good, interesting info. He kept all 22 of us on time. I liked that we had lunch and dinner options and were on our own for that. The sites especially the 12 Apostles is well worth the long day. We also saw wild koalas and kangaroos.

Good tour of multiple highlights outside of Melbourne
Jacqui was a fantastic guide/driver. We booked this tour as it was one of the only ones that incorporated the Moonlight Sanctuary with the Penguin Parade + a couple additional stops in between.
The vehicle was comfortable and had WiFi throughout the ride.
I wish the tour company would have highlighted the very LIMITED food options to pack ahead accordingly. Outside of the slim options - especially if you have an allergy - at the zoo and penguin visitor center, there were no other way to eat on the long trip. Not a fault of the tour; but could have been communicated ahead of time.

Amazing Wildlife!
What a fun day exploring and getting up close and personal with many of the exotic Australian Animals! Our tour guide Aleks was the best! She gave us a lot of history about the different areas we visited that day and included some fun stories. We never felt rushed and she made our day very enjoyable. She gave us some good info on where to stand or walk to see different animals…she also made sure that our bus was visible and easy to find at each stop—loved her twinkling lights on the bus at night so we could find it easy too— very much appreciated! I really enjoyed our time at the moonlit sanctuary and feeding the kangaroos and wallabies. The informational show the staff puts on was very interesting too. We enjoyed seeing the beach swim boxes and beaches. The cliff area was interesting where the penguins also live, & she showed us some wild kangaroos too, but my favorite excursion was the penguin parade on Phillips Island! Aleks told us what was the best scenario so we had time to get dinner, shop, and see the penguins come out of the ocean. She also told us to walk over to one side on way out to hear and possibly see the penguins in their burrows. The entire experience is one I will always cherish as a lifetime memory! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys seeing animals in nature! It was amazing!

Phillips Island tour
Our drive and guide was great. He has a great sense of humor. He really works hard to give us a great experience judging by the amount of time he allowed on each site. He took the time and effort to spot wallaby on the road , provided history of the place we were passing through, suggesting food and restaurants to go for snack/dinner stop. We thank him for his energy, enthusiasm, and spirit.
One thing I would like to mention that our pick up time at Savoy hotel was 10:30am. It was the same time for another tourist. The bus didn’t show up until 10:53am which left us wondering if we were forgotten. Yet, the driver upon artisans he is on time (10:50am pick up). There was a lack of communication, which is uncomfortable.

Great ocean rosd
It was a beautiful drive by ocean road. It is windy and won’t recommend for those who have motion sickness. We saw koala bears and kangaroos and enjoyed the beauty of the 12 Apostles. Our driver Steve went out of his way to make sure we saw lots of koala bears and kangaroos and made the trip enjoyable. . We were visiting from Toronto and would highly recommend it.

Puffing Billy Fun
Had a fantastic time. Was picked up in an easy to find place in the city by an awesome young man, Nathan. Our first stop was Grant’s Picnic Grounds where we went on a short bush walk, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and bird wildlife. We were then taken to the
Puffing Billy Train Station and Nathan escorted us to a train carriage and ensured we all had good positions. The train ride was so fun with our legs dangling out the train carriage. Nathan drove to a crossing and took a video of us as the train went by. We arrived at Lakeside Station and went for a walk around the lake which was beautiful, breathing in the clean air. We returned back to Melbourne city at around 1pm. My daughter and I had a wonderful time, thank you Nathan.😊😊

Great Experience
Excellent tour! Very organized and on time. It’s a long day, basically noon to midnight, but really fun. Simon, our bus driver was terrific. Take a warm jacket/coat for penguin parade, it’s cold and windy at night in March. Would definitely recommend.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
When people come to Melbourne, they don't come to only see the city's attractions. They also come for the great Melbourne day trips that let you experience more of Victoria while staying comfortably in Melbourne. Take it easy as you're driven out to your pick of beaches, coastal attractions, wine valleys, and wildlife sanctuaries—the latter of which lets you see Australian wildlife including penguins and koalas. You can also make the most of Australia's seasons, from hitting the slopes in the ski fields in winter (June–August) to walking to waterfalls in the warmer months (December–February).
