great ocean road: autumn version
the “reverse tour” was a great move because on this particular day we were so fortunate to experience “better” weather at the beginning of the tour (throughout the morning). the evening brought weather that has been melbourne’s coldest (since their winter season). but i will say, the great ocean road is beautiful no matter what the weather may bring. tip: if it’s cooler a specific day it’s probably a good idea to bring a jacket. the good thing is that you’re able to leave it on the bus between stops so you’re not having to worry about carrying things. most importantly, our tour guide chris was incredible. it’s such an asset having a host who has life experience and historical knowledge in the region because guests are able to receive a less tourist-y and more of a local experience which is brilliant for interstate and international visitors. he was also welcoming and had great humour. it made the tour comfortable and enjoyable. also a thank you to our guide chris for taking us all to a small town coffee shop called “café la hoot” in winchelsea and a restaurant called “george’s” out at apollo bay. whenever i’m at home or when i travel i always like to support small businesses. honourable mention: great playlist. such a vibe.

Great Adventure
We had a fantastic experience on the Go West Tours Great Ocean Road Classic Day Tour. Our guide, Rheys, made the entire journey memorable with his energy, knowledge, and sense of humor. It’s a long, full-day trip, but the pacing was well thought out with plenty of stops to stretch your legs and take in the scenery.
The coastal views were stunning, and the transition into the rainforest added a completely different, lush atmosphere to the day. Along the way, we spotted a variety of native birds and even a koala, which was a real highlight. Walking along the beach and through the rainforest gave us a chance to truly experience the landscape up close.
Rheys kept things entertaining throughout—his best Crocodile Dundee impression while attempting to call up some kangaroos was a fun touch, even if they had already turned in for the evening. His enthusiasm and effort didn’t go unnoticed.
Overall, this is a fast-paced but incredibly rewarding tour that covers a lot of ground and showcases some of Australia’s most beautiful natural sights. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to see the Great Ocean Road in a single, well-organized day.

This was a great way to...
This was a great way to spend three hours in Melbourne, a city to which my husband and I had never visited. Our tour guide Ian is, if I recall correctly, a lifelong Melbourne resident and has tons of knowledge about Melbourne that he imparted to us during our time spent with him. Besides being knowledgeable, Ian was affable and easy with whom to spend time. He made the tour both fun and factual. Great way to start off our brief visit to Melbourne!

Fantastic experience and great fun
We did the cocktails in the clouds package. We timed it perfectly so we had a cocktail in hand when the sun was going down. Beautiful views across Melbourne. The virtual reality theatre was amazing, taking you to lots if activities and areas of Melbourne, although I did have to close my eyes on a couple of occasions, such as the roller coaster. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience

Good taste of the Grampians
The Grampians park is a long drive from Melbourne, but definitely worth it if you have time. Though this particular trip doesn't give you a ton of time in a each spot, it does a good job of giving you a taste of the area -- the views are great and hiking is pretty easy. Plus our guide Jaimes A. was excellent!

Do It!!
It was a great opportunity to see several sites along the Great Ocean Road without the hassle of renting a car. Plus we had a great guide/driver, Joe, who went out of his way to give us an opportunity to see koalas and kangaroos in addition to some history and interesting folklore. It was a small, comfortable motorcoach with wifi and plenty of quick stops to use the loo. Although a long day it went by very quickly.

Everything you need to know about street art
We were led down the famous (and also off the map) lanes filled with street art and graffiti by Louis. He was absolutely amazing with inside knowledge about all of the artists and their particular techniques. We were also blessed with some of Louis’s own art (which was spectacular!). Very cool to have one of their own to show us around. LOVED.

Great day out
What a fantastic day out, we were upgraded to the reverse tour which I could not recommend more. Our tour guide Craig had so much enthusiasm, knowledge and engaged with absolutely everyone. Each of the sites were absolutely breathtaking and a must when visiting Melbourne.

The entrance is a bit...
The entrance is a bit difficult to find at the back of a shopping center. Try not to bring a bag if you don't want it in pictures no place to leave it.
The venue is a labyrinth of detailed realistic paintings you are able to interact with and take creative photos.
Most of the scenes are fantasy based and highly detailed. There are instructions demonstrating the optimal photographic technique. Fun, interactive activity for the whole family. Would recommend.
