Highly recommend!
Loved this tour! It was so fun riding all the different forms of transportation..... bus, gondola, cogwheel train, boat! The views from Mt. Pilatus were breathtaking. We also did the mountain coaster and that was such a blast! Lucerne is such a beautiful city and the lake is so beautiful.

It’s worth it!
This excursion sounds expensive but it’s worth it. Besides a stop I. the idyllic town of Lucerne, Mt Pilatus is the main attraction. You ride up on 2 types of gondolas, come down on a cogwheel train and then take a boat cruise around the area. The scenery the entire day was spectacular, even the bus ride!
I also had a fab tour guide, Adela.
Tip: bring some warm clothing (and wear closed-toe shoes with socks) as it was cold at the top of Pilatus.

Great day
Saw some of the most important sites in Lucerne . Going up Mt Pilatus on the cog train, lunch at the Belleville, and the gondola ride down. The boat ride on beautiful lake Lucerne was great

A great ride to the top.
It was a great trip. It had five different modes of transportation and the trails and views on the mountain were fantastic. The only thing I would point out is that on the trip details it mentions a food voucher at the mountain. This is only during a brief period of the year and didn’t apply to our trip. Several other guests were confused by that point also.

Great, but…
This was a fantastic tour! Mount Pilatus does NOT disappoint! We even rode the Alpine Coaster which was a big hit with my teens. Up on top, the views were magnificent! Getting down on the cog wheel train and then the boat tour was a great way to wrap it up.
Only removed a star because we were told we would have a $20 CH per person lunch voucher and we did not get it. Spent $100 CH on lunch. Be prepared!

This trip was wonderful as it allowed us to see beautiful Lucerne then enjoy the trip up to Mt. Pilatus. The cogwheel train trip was an experience you shouldn’t miss with beautiful views.

The earlier the better.
An amazing way to explore not just the Mountain but transportation options around the city as well. Medium paced experience never feeling rushed or hurried. I wish we would have done it sooner in our visit. I do wish they would have pointed out we needed our visitor card to return by bus on the last leg. One call to the hotel fixed that easily though. The experience varies greatly by quick changes in weather.

I would disregard all of the negative reviews for this tour!
Carlos was early for our pickup and had plenty of headsets for our group. He was well organized and kept the group together.
