Great way to learn Glasgow
Excellent Glasgow tour that truly exceeded our expectations. The guide was informative, engaging, and gave us a great overview of the city in a short amount of time. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow for the first time.
It is a walking tour, so comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are a must.

Do this, you won’t regret it!
I’d give 10 stars if I could!
Our tour guide Johnny, well spoken and had a wealth of information about Mother Glasgow, rivaled only by his passion for this beautiful city.
Sure, you can walk around the city on your own but you will miss out on so many stories and historical details about this fascinating city.
Wear good walking shoes and be prepared to be amazed.
Enjoy!

Go with a true Scotsman!
Joined this day trip in early April 2026. Every site we visited was achingly beautiful. The bus made the journey quite comfortable. Our guide, Jeff, was fantastic. He played Scottish music that resonated with the countryside we were passing through. He had just the right depth of accent: enough to remind us that we were in Scotland, but still be completely understandable and highlight his humor. Speaking of which, he was so funny and entertaining that we didn't mind the blustery weather. A serious motor vehicle accident closed off our intended route on the home stretch, but he saved our day by taking a long, scenic detour. We were moving and viewing rather than sitting still and getting bored. Thank you, Jeff!

We had a very pleasant...
We had a very pleasant day with John. He was very informative and good fun. Making our day a day to remember. The scenery was stunning and we saw Hairy Coos, which I was hoping we would. Loch Lomond was beautiful an enjoyable cruise. Would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour
James is an excellent host and a very informative guide. The restaurants that we went to were all different in what they served, but they were all very good and each offered a multicultural sample of restaurants that can be found in Glasgow. I highly recommend this tour.

A wonderfully entertaining tour through Glasgow’s dark past!
Vincent was so great! He really brought the stories alive and made lots of recommendations on what to do and check out along the way. He was so friendly and spent time getting to know each of us on the walk and making it feel more personal. I really enjoyed talking with him along the way. From the Loch Ness monster lady!

Wonderful and unique tour
This was a highlight of our trip. Grace was knowledgeable and so friendly and entertaining! We got to experience Glasgow in such a unique way by learning about its street art. Thank you so much to Grace, you are wonderful at what you do and how much you love your city shines through!

I had a lovely time. Jeff...
I had a lovely time. Jeff C from Glasgow was phenomenal (not to be confused with Jeff from Edinburgh, I don’t know that guy). He knew so much history which was much appreciated and he was also really funny. I really wanted to see Highland Cows and he made sure that I got to. We covered so much of the Scottish countryside I would’ve never got to see otherwise. Would 100% recommend for anyone!

Outlander & Beyond!
Great tour of some interesting historical landmarks in the area north of Glasgow & Edinburgh. It was themed around the Outlander tv programne, but you didn't need to be a fan to appreciate the history.
One castle we visited was used for the filming of Monty Python & the Holy Grail and 'horses' were available to purchase from their gift shop!
The tour was hosted by Grant - a lovely local guy - with lots of interesting historical facts & fascinating snippets to bring the journey to life.
A fab day out!

Great introduction into Glasgow
Great whistle stop introduction into Glasgow by an engaging guide. Luke spoke loudly and clearly, told interesting, informative as well as some poignant stories from Glasgow's past.
One awkward thing was that the guide referred to voluntary payment at the start and the end of the tour. As I have already paid via Viator we just walked off but wondering if he was aware of this and was getting paid, I hope he was.

Great trip around Glasgow.
This is a great way to spend your day in Glasgow . If you’re lucky enough to get on the HOHO with a live narrator (Jim) you’re in for a fun fact finding and fun trip around town. Jim takes your worries away. He’s very knowledgeable about Glasgow City.

Excellent Tour
Mark was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and brought humour into the information seamlessly! His recall of people’s names and where they were from and how he could bring that into the conversations was very skillful. A very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours in Glasgow on Fair Friday evening = 4 x happy participants 😃
