We had beautiful weather but it probably doesn’t matter as this is a beautiful excursion to the top of Mt. Pilatus, close to Lucerne. The views are amazing and there is plenty of infrastructure on top, including various food options. Our guide Lincoln was great.

Fabulous tour. Very well organised. The hikes on Mt Pilatus were varied and suited all skill and fitness levels. The only thing was that our ticket said that they would provide us with Euro (can’t recall how much now) for lunch as nd that was never provided - so we had to find our own lunch there. .

Great tour, for a price

This was a somewhat pricey but great way to see Pilatus and Lake Lucerne. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and even stayed positive when a city bus breakdown delayed our progress. Sadly, we missed the cog railway season opening by a few days which is not easy to discover from the description (mid-May). But the lovely views, both from the cable car up the mountain and on the boat were enjoyable nonetheless.

A Seamless and Scenic Day Trip to Mt Pilatus and Lucerne

We had a wonderful experience on our day trip to Mt Pilatus and Lucerne. Our tour guide, Adolfo, was exceptional—very knowledgeable, organised, and always accommodating. His friendly nature and willingness to help made the day run smoothly and added a personal touch to the journey. We also want to highlight Ernesto, our bus driver, who was very professional throughout the trip. His safe and smooth driving made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. The views from Mt Pilatus were absolutely stunning and truly unforgettable. Although the tour did not include a lake cruise (something we were aware of beforehand), the meal voucher provided was a thoughtful and pleasant replacement that we appreciated. Overall, this trip was a fantastic way to experience the beauty of Switzerland, and the professionalism of both Adolfo and Ernesto made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Leighton was a very knowledgeable & helpful tour guide. He met us in the train station in Basel & assisted us in getting back on public transportation after the excursion. The cog rail was fun, but we were hoping to ride the gondola as well. The other tour guests were expecting the gondola too. Mt Pilatus was amazing & we were very happy with Leighton. Views from Lake Lucerne were amazing too.
