The experience we ended...
The experience we ended up doing was good, we did it on a four wheel drive. Just be aware that the options that are given are 65euros a person extra. I thought the tour I had chosen would be a medium level but we were told medium to difficult and had to rent shoes and jackets. All I n all we ended having a nice time and Salvo our tour guide who picked us up was very knowledgeable and gave us very interesting facts about Etna and the city of Catania. Would recommend

It was amazing! We loved...
It was amazing! We loved our driver and guide, Salvatore and Mario. The experience itself was a ton of fun and our hosts were very accommodating and kind. Mario has encyclopedic knowledge of the flora and history of Etna and was excited to share with all of us. The meal in the pine forest alongside other tourists and locals was very charming and delicious. Highly recommend water shoes for the gorges, and be sure to turn to the right once you reach the bottom of the stairs for the main attraction!

Great experience with knowledgeable guide
We were a 3 generation family. Ages 15, 18, 40s and late 70s. Fantastic tour with Daniele, a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. The climb to the crater was fairly strenuous for thosrewho were not fit. Climbing down into the lava cave was a great experience. Loved the views of the lava flow and the Daniele really explained the geology clearly and simply. Would definately recommend this tour.

The Street is Where It’s At! 😎
Our Catania Street Food Small Group Tour with Do It Better was an absolute delight and one of the highlights of our time in Sicily. Our guide, Julia, was simply lovely – warm, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable – and she made the whole experience feel relaxed, personal and so much fun. We sampled some wonderful Sicilian treats, from a delicious ham and cheese pastry to a fantastic fish cone, where the anchovies were especially delicious. Of course, no visit to Sicily would be complete without cannoli, and we enjoyed both chocolate and pistachio – absolutely divine! We finished with refreshing gelato: toasted almond for one of us and lemon for the other. Julia also explained the traditional simplicity of the dessert made using sugar, water and fruit or nuts. Everything was delicious, but it was Julia’s passion, knowledge and lovely personality that made the tour truly special. We came away not only very full and happy, but feeling that we had experienced a little piece of the real Catania. Highly recommended!
