Amazing, and so tranquil. Our guides where absolutely spectacular. We rode cornbread, and Remi. Both fabulous horses. And scenery was amazing. They explained everything so thorough. And made us feel very comfortable and secure on our horses.

As a first time horseback rider, this was an amazing experience. Hilary and Francisco were great instructors. I rode Mara she was a great girl, and also known as a “sneaky snacker” along the trail ride. My partner rode Gigi, and she goes by the nickname “tesla. It’s almost as if she has auto pilot, very easy to ride, and she moves as if she owns the trail. The overall experience was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the history of park, horse life, and new horse jokes along the way.

I booked the "Horseback Ride on Scenic Lake Louisa Trails" through Viator to celebrate my birthday (April 9th, 2026), expecting a special and memorable experience. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the most disappointing and upsetting experiences I've had with any service.
My confirmation email clearly stated a 10:30 AM start time. On my way there, I got lost and did the responsible thing -- I called ahead to inform them I would be a few minutes late. I arrived at 10:33 AM and was physically present with the group while the instructions were happening. Despite this, I was abruptly and rudely told by the instructor to leave and reschedule because the briefing had already started.
What made this even more frustrating is that at no point -- in any email or communication -- was I told I needed to arrive at 10:00 AM. I even showed them my confirmation to clarify, and still received no understanding or flexibility.
Trying to remain respectful and not disrupt the group, I calmly went to reschedule as instructed. That's when I was informed, for the first time, that I would have to pay a $75 rescheduling fee. This had never been mentioned before. I explained the entire situation again -- that I had called ahead, that I was only three minutes past the stated time, and that I had been standing there during the instructions. I also shared that this was my birthday and simply asked if there was any possibility to waive or reduce the fee.
There was no effort to help. No empathy. No willingness to even consider a reasonable solution.
I was told a manager would call me to follow up. That call never came.
I then reached out to Viator, hoping for some level of support or mediation, and they simply repeated the company's policy without offering any resolution. No refund, no flexibility, no accountability.
What makes this experience especially upsetting is that I was genuinely excited. I had planned this in advance as something meaningful to celebrate my birthday, and even seeing the location in person, I could tell it was beautiful. But the way I was treated completely overshadowed everything.
I was polite the entire time. I communicated clearly. I respected their process. And still, I was met with rudeness, poor communication, and zero consideration.
This wasn't just disappointing -- it felt careless and dismissive.
If you're looking for an experience where customer service, communication, and basic courtesy matter, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

The horses were well trained and the guides are knowledgeable. The trails are beautiful and clean with well directed paths. The only thing that we discussed when we got back to the car was that we didn't ride down to the lake on the horses. EVERY tour should include a lake view!

This experience and a unique and fun one for us. Being total beginners, we may not have been able to ride the horse if the horses were not cooperative as they were. This experience was relaxing and made us feel like achievers.

Took an anniversary trip to Orlando and booked a horseback riding afternoon ride with my husband , came 12 minutes late and we saw them start and leave without us. We tried contacting them but couldn’t and was told we couldn’t get any refund on a $178 trip. Bummed out especially since it was our anniversary and they didn’t even attempt to help make things right. Would not recommend

It was a very nice experience. We got to learn a lot about the lands and edible plants on the trails. It was exciting to get to know our horses names, what breed they are, and how they came to be at the ranch. Overall really fun adventure for us both. Loved Gigi and Pongo the two longest residents at the park.

It's not fare to others if you don't have in bold print the restrictions for weight an BMI restrictions. For people of a bigger size. It's weight bias.

Booked for my wife’s birthday and drove over an hour, only to be turned away for a BMI policy that’s buried under “Additional Info” instead of shown clearly during booking. No call, text, or email before arrival. Refund denied because they couldn’t resell our spots. Travelers: double-check the fine print before booking, because this rule is not obvious and can ruin your plans.

The staff were great and friendly, and the horses were calm and gentle. If this is your first time riding a horse, I highly recommend this place, as they clearly explained all the steps on how to ride and guide the horses.

I arrived 10-15 minutes prior to the tour (tour was at 1:30pm) and was not sure where I was supposed to go. I called the tour company and was told that I was called twice and didn't answer so I couldn't go on the tour anymore because they wanted me there by 1. Mind you, the numbers that called me; one was a Las Vegas number and the other was a Homossasa number. I don't answer calls that I don't recognize. If it was from a cell they could have text me.
I was told that if I wanted to reschedule I would have to pay 75 dollars more. And it would be for another day. It took 2hrs to drive up there. I want going back another day.
My daughter thought we'd drive around and at least see the park. We drove by the stables and who did we see? The people going on the tour still there 15min after tour was supposed to have started!! So, tell me we couldn't have gone.
I called Viator to get a refund and an agent told me that I would most likely get something back but to wait for an email with the decision. And I receive an email a day later telling me that I wasn't getting a refund!! I am so frustrated. Almost $200 wasted down the drain. I will never use this company again or pay for my activity prior to the date. Ridiculous thieves. The lady they could have done was given some of my money back.

Best experience ever. The horses were so calm. The trail was relaxing and serene. The trainers were very fun and upbeat super nice and professional. Definitely will do this every time I come back to visit Florida.

An amazing experience! I felt completely at ease and had a fantastic time on the tour. The best part was the great communication and fun atmosphere, filled with humor. This is definitely a place worth revisiting. Plus, for Valentine’s Day, they went the extra mile by giving out gift bags with flowers and chocolates—truly showing their dedication to their customers!

Our first time horse back riding. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging and gave detailed instructions to help us on the hour ride. I highly recommend this for anyone, especially first timers. We hope to be back in the future.
