The best summer climbing experience ever!

George! He is the best guide ever! He collected us from our hotel, took us to a wonderful spot over looking the ocean to warm up on some easy routes at a beautiful location! He had climbing shoes ready in our size for us and all the gear. We felt 100% safe, George was so encouraging, I climbed the hardest outdoor grade I’ve ever completed and part of that was due to all of his encouragement and great knowledge about the routes, and we were in shade the entire time (July)! I had mentioned we were interested in a nearby waterfall but unable to get there and he went out of his way to take us on the way home. Excellent guide and a great guy! Highly recommend.

I had a great time climbing in Plakias with George! It was my first time climbing outdoors and he was very encouraging. I felt very safe throughout and he also gave great advice. I was a woman doing the experience on my own and I felt very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone interested in climbing outdoors, whether experienced or not!

George!!! What an awesome guide! He could lead anything you wanted to go up, was super safe and had good vibes. The location is outstandingly beautiful and his recommendations for dinner to the tavern on the hill was on-point. Absolutely recommend this experience and this guide. I had never climbed on the real rock and this was an amazing experience with George. He was very helpful, patient, made sure safety was on point. He has a great knowledge of the routes in the area (from beginner to advanced). Altogether a really great day, definitely will book again next time in crete.
