⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Outstanding Tour Experience with Jonathan and Jaime! We had a fantastic experience with Jonathan, our tour guide, and Jaime, our driver. They arrived to pick us up exactly on time and immediately made us feel welcome. Together, they make a wonderful team! Jonathan showed great initiative and foresight by rearranging the tour schedule so we could visit the Teleférico before the weather moved in. It was absolutely worth it! The views were spectacular, and his commentary throughout the tour was both informative and engaging. Our stroll through Quito’s historic center was leisurely and enjoyable, covering all the major points of interest. We never felt rushed at any stop or while walking between locations. Jonathan allowed us plenty of time to take in the sights and enjoy the experience. The drive to Mitad del Mundo and back to Quito was safe, comfortable, and pleasant. Jaime was an excellent driver, and the level of interaction from both was just right—friendly, professional, and never overwhelming. Mindo Cloud Forest Day Trip

Quito is quite large; hence, it takes a long while to get away from it and into the countryside. Nonetheless, the skilled driver (Pedro) made it comfortable to chat with our excellent guide (Hugo) and learn a lot and ask questions about Quito, Ecuador and the surroundings. We stopped in a small town to see an equator marker in an uncrowded setting, visited a hummingbird refuge abuzz with a wide variety of beautiful hummers, hiked to all the waterfalls in the Mindo Park, rode the cable car there and then had a lovely, well-earned lunch at a unique restaurant with great food and excellent bird watching. A full, memorable day!

We booked a day trip to Cotopaxi and had the most wonderful experience, largely thanks to our guide, Jorge. From start to finish, he was exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive to our needs. High-altitude hiking can be intimidating, but he paced the climb to the José Rivas Refuge perfectly and offered the exact right mix of encouragement and support to help us push through and reach the summit. We felt safe, well-cared for, and motivated the entire day. If you're heading out to Cotopaxi, hope you get him as your guide—highly recommend!

Crazy and Fun

This was definitely a non-touristy experience. Fatima our guide was awesome. The horseback riding phenomenal - the best way to go through the National Park. About the hike, it is challenging. We live at sea level and arrived in Quito the night before so we didn’t have time to adjust to the altitude. But Fatima took it slow for us and it was quite exhilarating to reach the base camp!!! An experience of a lifetime!

Great tour of the old town

An interesting and informative tour showing us around the beautiful churches and buildings in the old Unesco area of Quito. Wonderful Quito Tour

My sister and I had such a wonderful day exploring Quito! The tour was very flexible, which we really appreciated, and we got to enjoy such a great mix of sightseeing and local experiences. We visited the beautiful historic churches, the Teleférico, the swing with its amazing views, and the Middle of the World. The food and chocolate tasting were also such a fun addition and made the experience even more special. Our tour guide (Jessy) was honestly amazing. She was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, warm, and incredibly accommodating from beginning to end. One thing we especially appreciated was how well she handled the fact that the two of us have very different personalities (one of us is quite outgoing and the other is much quieter) and somehow, she made both of us feel completely comfortable. She has such a warm and down-to-earth personality that it never felt like we were spending the day with a stranger; it genuinely felt like we were exploring Quito with family. We also genuinely felt safe and comfortable with her throughout the entire day. That made such a difference, especially when you're exploring a new country. We never felt uncomfortable or out of place, and she was always attentive to what we needed. Whenever we needed a little break, she was very understanding and would give us helpful tips on how to manage the conditions and keep going. She was also great at keeping us on track with the itinerary. There was so much to see, and she somehow managed to make sure we got to experience everything without making us feel rushed. She deserves a special mention for her photography skills! She was always happy to take pictures of us, suggested poses and the best spots, and somehow managed to make us look like we knew what we were doing. She was incredibly patient and enthusiastic about it, and we came away with so many wonderful photos and memories. For my sister, having the opportunity to speak with someone who was fluent in both English and Spanish was a wonderful part of the experience. Although our guide was fluent in English, she was also happy to speak with my sister in Spanish throughout the day and was incredibly patient and encouraging. Since neither of us is a native Spanish speaker or particularly confident speaking Spanish, having someone guide us through the conversations made the experience even more enjoyable. It was such a special opportunity for my sister to practice Spanish with someone who was so kind and supportive. Our driver was also excellent. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire day and travelling between all the different locations was smooth and stress-free. Having transportation between all the different locations was also incredibly convenient. We didn't have to worry about figuring out how to get from one place to another, waiting around for transportation, or losing time between stops. Everything flowed smoothly, which gave us more time to enjoy the experience. Overall, this was our first real tour-guide experience in Ecuador, and we honestly could not have asked for a better one. The combination of the beautiful places we visited, the flexibility, the local experiences, and especially the warmth and personality of our guide and driver made it one of the highlights of our time in Ecuador. We would wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Quito. Thank you for making our day so special and for giving us so many great memories to take home!

Awesome Tour!!

I had an absolutely amazing experience touring Quito with Pato! Since Pato was born and raised in Quito, he knows the city inside and out, and that really made the experience feel authentic and special. He explained everything in great detail and shared so much about the history, culture, and everyday life of the city. We stopped at a local market where we got to try some unique fruits, then rode the Teleférico up the mountain and did a short hike with incredible views overlooking Quito. The swing in the clouds was awesome, and Pato even doubled as my personal photographer, making sure I had plenty of great pictures to remember the experience. We visited the Basilica, which was amazing, and then walked through the beautiful Old Town before having an awesome lunch in the square. We ended the day at Mitad del Mundo, which was the perfect way to finish the tour. We were lucky enough to arrive when there weren't many people around, so I was able to get some fantastic pictures without the crowds. This was an especially wonderful tour as a solo traveler. Pato made the entire day comfortable, fun, informative, and memorable. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I had an incredible experience. Pato is the absolute best! Wow! Amazing Tour of Beautiful Volcanoes!

One of the BEST tours I've ever taken. My daughter and I travel the world visiting Volcanoes and we are so happy we chose this tour guide for Cotopaxi and Quilatoa! Cotopaxi experience

This was a fabulous day. Our guide Edison met us promptly and expertly handled all the driving requirements. He was knowledgeable and pointed out many interesting features of Quito and Ecuador. The Cotopaxi experience was marvellous. We got to meet some alpacas, some great Ecuadorian people and experience the park and its amenities fully. The walk round the lake was full of discoveries from hummingbirds to lizards and lots of other things in between. The climb to the refuge on Cotopaxi was challenging but rewarding and the celebratory lunch at a wonderful local restaurant was top drawer! Would recommend this excursion to everyone looking to experience nature just outside of Quito!
