Our guide will pick you up from your hotel/airport early in the morning, then head to Materuni village. Materuni is located under the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a morning hike in the village surrounded by beautiful tropical rainforests giving you a scenic view of the city as you approach the waterfalls for a refreshing dip in the waterfall pool, if the weather allows. You will also get to explore the cultural heritage of the Chagga tribe through their local banana beer and coffee roasted traditionally, whereas you can join in the coffee-making process to its final. You will have your lunch and fresh fruits at Materuni after a cup of coffee. Next is Kikuletwa hot spring with a fantastic pool with small fish that offer free feet massage. Kikuletwa Chemka Hot Springs Bicycle or Tuk Tuk Day Trip

Relax after your busy week in the beautiful turquoise water of the Kikuletwa Hot Springs (they are not really that hot but more refreshing)! Experience the way the locals travel by hopping in a Tuk Tuk and weaving your way through local Maasai villages, Baobab trees and farms to see how people live in the country side. When we arrive at the hot springs after about 1 - 1.5hrs travel enjoy the tranquility of the water in a quiet space or opt for the rope swing for a bit of excitement! Entry ticket and lunch will be provided. Tubes are available for hire. The hot springs are home to many Doctor fish who will clean your dead skin if you sit still! When you are ready we will return back to Moshi and drop you off at your desired location. Note: the amenities (including change rooms and toilets) at the hot springs are very basic so we would encourage guests to use the bathroom before leaving and wearing their swimming attire to start the tour. Don’t forget to bring towels!
