Top Faro Escape Rooms

Faro becomes the crime scene in this self-guided detective game, where the clues are hidden in plain sight in the streets around you. The case is the murder of Balthasar, and the evidence is scattered across the old centre - past Arco do Repouso, Igreja do Carmo, Faro Cathedral and the Municipal Museum. You decode messages, photograph what does not add up and press digital witnesses whose stories never quite line up. Every puzzle you crack removes a name from the list of suspects. Play as a couple, bring the children along, or send two or three teams out at the same time and turn the investigation into a race - which is what makes this murder mystery game work as well for a team outing as for a day out. The last answer is waiting somewhere in the centre of Faro.

In Run Experience, you will have to move across the interactive floor, reacting to the different challenges presented in the space. Run, change direction, find the right answer and try to keep up with the rhythm of each level. As it progresses, the challenges become progressively more demanding, testing one's reflexes, coordination, and reaction time. The activity has a duration of 45 minutes and can be enjoyed by groups of friends and families.

This activity has been designed by a local ‘expert’, who has created a fun experience that takes you to some of the town’s highlights and the lesser-known places, away from all the tourists. The puzzles are designed to help you experience the place from a different perspective – using landmarks, murals, statues etc - and you’ll even learn some ‘fun facts’ along the way. The self-guided aspect of your activity means that you can rush through as fast as you like or stop for a drink or something to eat as you like. The app remembers your progress and even allows you to complete your Adventure Hunt another day. This activity aims to strike a fun balance between challenging puzzles, a fun outing with friends and family, and a pleasant walk around outside.
