All Dijon Tours & Excursions in 2026

I knew that we’d see vineyards and go to two wineries for tasting, but my expectations were low. However from the time Albane picked my husband and I up right in front of St. Benigne church, to the time she dropped us off, we had a wonderful time! We drove to Beaune to pick up the one other person, but we drove through the neighborhoods of Dijon into the vineyards. We drove through Cote de Nois and Cote de Beaune vineyards, even stopping to sample some post-harvest Pinot Noir grapes, which were surprisingly sweet and juicy. Albane gave us a lesson on the terroir and the history of the area while she expertly navigated the narrow roads and helped us understand the difference between the vineyard classifications. The first winery was beautiful and the wines were delicious and affordable. Albane gave us a masterclass on tasting with aroma vials, maps and handouts. She was a great teacher. We had a lunch of frommage and charcuterie with more wine and some delicious sweet treats at the end. We then went to the next winery and toured the facility, which was really cool. We saw the bottling equipment, tanks, barrels and storage eggs, along with an explanation of their wine making processes. Albane works the harvest every year, so she is extremely knowledgeable. After the tour we tasted in the cellars and even was offered an additional premier cru to taste at the end by the winery employee. After that we hopped in the van and drove back to Dijon were we were dropped off right on time. I highly recommend the tour and Albane. A very lovely day was had by all!

This tour was the ABSOLUTE BEST. Matthieu is beyond knowledgeable. My favorite part was how fun and interactive the tasting was. I learned so much. I LAUGHED so much (and this was before we even had any alcohol!). The wine was also lovely (truly I don’t even like wine, I just felt like we should do a tasting because we’re in Burgundy…but now I actually enjoy wine. Like I said, incredible experience).

The itinerary was perfectly paced, with a wonderful balance of scenic drives, vineyard and cellar visits, and tastings. It never felt rushed, and every stop offered something new to discover. Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply curious about Burgundy, this tour is an excellent way to experience the beauty and culture of the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, informative, and memorable Burgundy wine experience. We'd happily do it again!
