Magical day out

Excellent but long day out! The itinery was fantastic with majestic castles and a quaint town. There were plenty of toilet stops during the day mainly at service stations where there were minimal queues. There was a bit of a queue at Peles castle but it moved at a reasonable pace. Lunch was at an authentic restaurant recommended by Romeo, our guide. Romeo was very informative and helpful although some quiet on the journey back to Bucharest would have been appreciated.

I really enjoyed it. The only issue for me is the van was completely full. It's nice to meet new people, but to be so close to absolute strangers is uncomfortable. I realize you cannot rent an oversize vehicle to transport 6 people. But there should be a bit more space to add to the comfort of riding for several hours.

Mihai was an excellent guide. He had really good English and made our day terrific. Throughout the day he made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed and that every visit was at a suitable pace with well timed breaks. The guide explained everything in a detailed and easy-to-understand way, so we were able to follow along at all times and learned a lot of interesting information. Everything was also very well organized and ran smoothly. A special compliment goes to the bus driver – he drives very safely and smoothly, which made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire trip. You can immediately tell that both the guide and the driver are true professionals. The time planning was excellent as well: we had enough time to explore everything at a relaxed pace without feeling rushed, and still managed to see all the important highlights. The highlight of the tour was definitely Pesch Castle, which was truly impressive. Of course, you should plan a full day for this tour, but it is absolutely worth it. Great day exploring this beautiful countryside with an expert driver

Kristian was outstanding driver and a terrific conversationalist. We enjoyed our day with him. The Peles castle had incredible wood carving throughout . The Bran castle was a fun challenge going up and down the stairs. The lunch at Brasov was very good. We managed to see the three sites mentioned in two hours. All of the sites were touristy but well organized. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the drive and were glad to say we got to Transylvania.

Lots to see

Really great way to fit in everything in one day. You have plenty of time walk through and see the palace/castle. The palace and castle took about an hour for me to walk through and then I had 30 ish minutes to explore the town. This trip takes you into the mountains, which is much colder than Bucharest. I went in the beginning of april, and although in Bucharest it was about a high of 12°C in the mountains it was -3°C and snowing.

Great tour with Vlad!

Vlad is a great guide. Informative, funny and looks after the group. It was smooth driving with Florian the Frenchman. I was dreading the bus ride but it was fine! And a good price.. Maje sure ti be punctual on the times. The 30 Rlei ticket to both museums and mini tour of Brazov is welll worth it. Don’t miss going inside the castles. Abd we seemed to be able to go in front of many other groups! There are many identical itinerary tour groups but I’m glad I picked this one with this company.

Our Driver Fernando was fantastic! The company had told us to get Skip the line tickets for Christ the Redeemer and the Sugarloaf Mountain tour and boy was that worth it! He stayed with us through all of our tours of both locations, and brought us to a wonderful restaurant in Rio, and then took us to the Steps and some other fantastic neighborhoods. He was courteous, interesting, passionate about the city, and fun! A wonderful day in Rio thanks to Fernando!

I was the only one on this tour (felt like a private tour) and we walked around outside of the main city centre and I got to see another side to Bucharest. Getting to go where the locals go and taste amazing Romanian food. Elena was so informative and the vibe was great. She explained historic events and showed me pictures from the past at certain locations so I was able to really understand what it was like to live in Bucharest from many years ago to the present. The tour had a lot of food I was so full!! I enjoyed this so much and definitely recommend doing this tour when in Bucharest.
