Pretty damn fabulous! Cool older boat, well updated and spiffy everywhere! The trip itself was amazing with day 2 being the highlight not many people book the three day so day two only has a few guests, in our case four! We had a private guide and kayak trip to the cave with no other boats anywhere. Exceptional day! The crew onboard were excellent!!

Ninh Binh - a single day packed with fun

I was traveling through Hanoi for work and found this tour an incredible way to get to experience a bit of the beauty and history of the area in only one day. Our guide was Phong, and he was fantastic. He brought great energy and enthusiasm without ever being pushy, and combined great historical/cultural knowledge of the places we visited along with his own personal experience in an incredibly sincere manner. I did this tour with a work colleague, but was already thinking this tour (and Phong) would provide a great experience if I can come back with my wife and 6 year old. The hike up to the overlook was not easy (steep by not crazy long and spots to break along the way), but I think it would be manageable even for my kid…so whether you’re on your own, with a group of adults, or visiting with kids, I would definitely recommend.

A jammed packed day! Great way to see Ha Long Bay if you only have a day to do so. It is crowded but just go with the flow. Tony our guide was great! Even with the chaos of people at times he always kept an eye on us. Definitely pay extra for the speedboat!

What an incredible tour! From the most delicious food at the hidden gem, to our amazing guide Bao and driver, Hai who navigated us safely through the bustling streets - the day was just superb. We learnt the most amazing facts about the Vietnamese culture and history of Hanoi and got to see the back streets and experience daily life. Just outstanding!!

What a fantastic day out! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The scenery was beautiful and so lovely to enjoy from different view points - the climb to the top of the stairs was exhausting, but so worth it; the bike ride so much fun and the boat ride the perfect way to end the day! Lunch was so delicious, some come with an empty tummy! Lastly, our guide T.A. was an absolute legend! Such a great sense of humour, so knowledgeable, brilliant English and just a lot of fun! Cannot recommend this trip enough. Definitely looking forward to our next adventure!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Mekong Delta Experience! We had an absolutely amazing day on our Mekong Delta tour booked through Viator! Everything was very well organized, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun and enjoyable. The Mekong Delta was beautiful, especially the boat ride through the Coconut Village. We got to see how traditional coconut candy is made and, of course, I couldn’t resist trying the famous Vietnamese cobra wine—with a BIG cobra inside the jar! 🐍😂 Definitely not something you get to try every day! One of the highlights was the ride on the tiny traditional boat through the narrow waterways. There were two drivers with us and we were sitting right in the middle, making it feel like our own little VIP adventure. 🚣‍♂️😄 Combined with the Cu Chi Tunnels earlier in the day, it was a fantastic full-day adventure packed with interesting history, beautiful scenery, local culture, and plenty of laughs. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh City and want to experience the Mekong Delta beyond the usual tourist sights. 5 stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Authentic tour and less touristic

Cat Ba Ventures is a fantastic local tour operator. Going with them was a great choice, not only does it support local business, but their local expertise means they know exactly where to go and when. The tour was seamlessly organized, the rooms were clean, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed. Our guide, John, took us to incredible spots where we had the place entirely to ourselves. An amazing experience all around. Highly recommended!

Fun and informative

Our guide, Hoa, whizzed us around different spots in the city for a full 4 hours. He shared funny anecdotes and also harrowing details about the Vietnam war. This trip was a great introduction to the city for our first visit. I would highly recommend it. Oh, and the beer was a bonus too.

Someone met me with my name on a sign as I was walking towards immigrationion. He steered me towards the far entry gate and I walked right up to the Officer. I showed him my passport & visa, got the stamp of approval and passed thru... It probably would have taken an hour to have taken the regular line as lots of other planes seemed to arrive at the same time. And It was after 10pm. Fortunately I just had carry on luggage. Though the pick-up guy would have assisted with that step as well. We then proceeded to the taxi office where another guy took over and got ahold of my ride.... after being completely worn out by having just flown nearly 24 hours between air time and layovers it was nice to have this last leg of the trip be quiet seamless. The taxi driver spoke pretty good English too. If you are in a rush or just want to get to a shower and in bed at your hotel this was a good purchase.

Wonderful experience

This was a wonderful experience! The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we felt welcome upon boarding and everything was clearly laid out for us. All the meals were delicious as was the optional activities. We made a few friends on the ship and participated in some of the traditional dancing. The rooms are quite large for being on a boat and we really enjoyed the view of the water from our balcony.

Emmie was the best guide ever! She was so enthusiastic and spent the day with us on an organized and thoughtful tour. Emmie took us to a fabulous vegetarian lunch as requested. She packed in a full day tour with efficiency. Emmie’s English was amazing too! She took photos of us throughout the day which we really appreciated. Our driver was also always on time and helpful.

We had an amazing 2D1N overnight experience with La Casta Cruise in Lan Ha Bay, and it was one of the absolute highlights of our Vietnam trip. If you’re looking for a luxury overnight cruise in Lan Ha Bay (quieter alternative to Halong Bay), La Casta is an excellent choice. The cabin was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with a private balcony overlooking the limestone karsts. Waking up to the calm waters of Lan Ha Bay was unforgettable.
