Butchart Gardens Tour with Linda

We really enjoyed this tour! Linda was great! The Butchart Gardens were beautiful, and we really enjoyed our time there. But we also enjoyed seeing other parts of Victoria. Linda was wonderful, and let us make what we wanted out of the rest of the time we had outside of the garden. She took us wherever we wanted around Victoria, and took us to some other beautiful and historical sights around the city. We appreciated her insight and local knowledge! I would highly recommend Linda!

Great way to see Victoria!

We booked this tour to see as much of Victoria as we could in 1 day, and it did not disappoint! Our guide, Alan, was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing history and local information as he drove us around the city. We made stops at all the important locations, Alan even made time to take us to a local market and Tim Hortons to try the Timbits! We felt like he listened and tried to take us places we really wanted to see! We were able to hop out at most locations and Alan was happy to take group pictues for us! The van was spacious and very clean, Alan provided waters for us, and he was a very good driver! I would highly recommend this tour! Ask for Alan! He's the best!

Worth your time and money

This was a fun easy bike tour pedaling around Victoria. The sun was out and we were on our way. Ali was fun with lots of information on history of buildings, architects. The shop was flexible with our scheduled tour and due to the downpour of rain we were able to reschedule a day later when the sun came out. Definitely recommend.

Not to be missed

Wish we had done this tour years ago. Andy showed us so many hidden spots and culinary gems that we would never have found without him. The portions are generous at the food stops so come hungry. This is an extremely well run tour and you can tell Andy has a warm relationship with the shop owners. It is well worth your time and the price of admission.

Informative and Convenient Ride

The bus driver Sara gave all sorts of historical info about the area-she was great. The gardens were spectacular. The only issue was that the instructions told us to go to an address across the street in the back of the Empress Hotel to redeem our tickets and there was no one there. We went out to the front of the hotel where the bus was and they scanned us there without issue. Maybe the instructions need to be updated (for those of us that follow instructions!)

Excellent Guide!

We docked late and had limited time but Fatih waited for us to get off the ship and continually reminded us that his job was to keep track of our time and our job was to enjoy ourselves. He knew so much about the area and was excited and passionate about sharing as much information as possible in the short amount of time we ended up having together. He was fun and engaging as he took us to the areas around the city. We genuinely enjoyed ourselves throughout the tour. Fatih made us want to come back and visit when we have more time. We would absolutely request him as a guide again!

What a lovely weekend....

What a lovely weekend. Our driver/guide, Claira, was really knowledgeable and engaging. She was enthusiastic and young, and obviously loves her job and Victoria. What a joy! The ride was comfortable, informative and absolutely stunningly beautiful. So happy we did it at sunset. There was a nice big cozy blanket to keep us warm.

Our private city tour of Victoria, BC was absolutely wonderful! Our host and driver Heike was humorous, thorough, accommodating, friendly, and incredibly personable. She even contacted us before pickup to introduce herself, answer any questions we might have, and confirm our pickup location—which was just one of SEVERAL thoughtful touches. Heike was extremely informative throughout the tour and made the experience both interesting and fun. One of our favorite little surprises was that she even brought peanuts so we could feed the local peacocks. Heike went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and her friendly personality made the tour feel like we were exploring the city with a friend. I would highly recommend Heike to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, accommodating, and genuinely wonderful tour guide. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Great tour with John

We had a great time with John on our private evening tour in Victoria! We had a group of 10, and the van was fantastic. It can hold up to 19 people, so with just 10 of us, there was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The van was very comfortable, and the price was really reasonable — only $660 for our whole group, plus the admission to Butchart Gardens. John gave us a beautiful drive up the coast on the way to Butchart Gardens, which took about 40 minutes. When we arrived, he walked in with us and gave us a quick overview of the gardens and helped us get oriented. We were originally supposed to have an hour and a half at Butchart Gardens, but our group decided we’d rather have more time to explore Victoria. An hour was actually plenty of time for us to see the gardens, and John was very flexible and worked with what our group wanted to do. John was friendly, easygoing, and very accommodating. We really enjoyed having a private tour instead of being on a big bus with a large group. Everything went smoothly, and it was a great way to see some of the area. We would definitely recommend John and would happily book another tour with him!

Rocky start but great overall

We were supposed to go to Cowichan valley, but the Malahat had an accident and we would have been delayed several hours, so our guide pivoted and arranged 2 wineries and a cidery in Saanich. It was a great trip. Guide was very informative. Both vineyards were great. The cidery was good but the staff there could have been a little more informative.
