The experience became even more special, with excellent support and a lot of friendliness. It was, without a doubt, a fantastic experience to get to know Terceira Island in a different way. Juco is an outstanding guide: considerate, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. On this tour, we visited sites only he has access to, and the sites are amazing. I definitely saw petroglyphs, as well as many other carvings, markings, and constructions that really set my imagination going. It made sense to me that there was human habitation on these islands well before European settlement. There's proof all over the world in the archeological (and written) record that some ancient peoples were excellent at navigation and sailing the seas, just as much as medieval people: ancients could have found the Azores long long ago. On this tour we also stopped for a truly delicious lunch at a restaurant known for their traditional alcatra (a sumptuous slow cooked beef dish), and we stopped at several beautiful viewpoints as well. Juco is an excellent photographer and he took some wonderful panoramic shots. 10/10 would recommend

I chose this tour because of the consistently excellent reviews and beautiful photos, although I’ll admit I was a little skeptical and wondered if they might be too good to be true. After spending such a wonderful day with Emilia, I can happily say the experience lived up to—and even exceeded—our expectations. Emilia was an excellent driver, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Terceira. She shared so much with us about the island’s history, culture, traditions, and present-day life. Her genuine love and pride for her beautiful island made the experience even more special. The scenery throughout the day was absolutely breathtaking, and the lunch was delicious from beginning to end—a real highlight of the experience. I can confidently recommend this tour, especially as one of the first things you do when visiting Terceira. It’s a wonderful introduction to the island and gives you a true appreciation for everything that makes Terceira so special. Thank you, Emilia, for such a memorable day!

Incredible experience! My boyfriend and I booked the night before and, even though it was last minute, Mr. Victor was absolutely impeccable and immediately made himself available to receive us. The visit to the cows was excellent, we learned a lot and we could milk the cow, drink its milk and eat cookies! The conversation with Mr. Victor was also excellent, full of sympathy and good disposition. It also took us on a guided tour of the area around Lajes Base, sharing various local curiosities with us. To finish, we tried cheese with homemade sweet and wine. We highly recommend this experience!

He was full of information. We would have blundered through all of those attractions blind and missed out on soo much stuff had we tried to do that by ourselves. He was very friendly and answered every question we threw at him. This was a 10/10 experience. Favorite thing we've done in the Azores so far.

Unique and incredibly flawless experience. We would like to leave especially a compliment to our guide who was Bernardo, who was super helpful, attentive in every detail from beginning to end. And we can say that it was beyond what we expected, because it led us to the Cave Walk, which even with little time made a question of taking us and for us this is to do beyond what was expected, and we could close our experience with a golden key.

A private tour is the ONLY way to see this beautiful island. The weather is unpredictable and we switched seeing the sights on the fly to be able to get the most out of the tour. Our guide, Antonio S. Is professional, informative, kind and best of all funny. In fact, he is a wealth of knowledge. Great curated tour!

It was our guide Nuno da Picos of adventure, friendly, explains everything very well, we went there restaurant Rocha in Porto Judeu eat Alcatra of meat, this basket yes for us the best of the island. We had eaten at the Restaurant Peneta but we did not like it, very fat. Here yes, very tasty.
