I was traveling solo for a work trip and had just a few hours to see as much as possible. Kalvin was punctual, super friendly, had excellent English and was super knowledgeable. I was able to customize my tour so we saw the places I was most excited for and he even helped me haggle on the souvenirs I bought. Set up was excellent- the car was immaculate and drive from location to location was smooth and saved us lots of time as the driver dropped us off and came back to pick us up when we were done. Alana reached out ahead of time to set up the tour and logistics and she was efficient, accommodating and informative. Overall a great way to see the city, whether you’re pressed for time or not. Felt very safe as a female solo traveller. Highly recommend.

Amazing Tour

This was an amazing tour. We saw many amazing sites. Kimi, my guide, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable about all of the sites and was able to tell me the history and interesting facts about all of them. The driver was excellent at navigating us safely around the town. A Magical Journey Through Zhujiajiao Ancient Town — A Must-See Experience Near Shanghai

Our visit to the ancient water town of Zhujiajiao Ancient Town was one of the absolute highlights of our stay in Shanghai. Our guide, Snow, met us in the lobby of our hotel before we were driven comfortably to the town, arriving about 50 minutes later. From the moment we crossed the bridge over the river, it felt as though we had stepped into another world. Beautiful tree-lined waterways, traditional stone bridges, and boats gliding along the canals created an atmosphere that was both peaceful and enchanting. The town itself was full of charm. Kezhi Garden was especially memorable — a serene place perfect for relaxation and quiet contemplation. Wandering through the narrow streets and alleys was an adventure in itself, with every turn revealing something new and delightful: artisans creating intricate embroidery, shops serving rice wine from large clay jars, countless tea houses, food stalls, and local restaurants. There was always something interesting to discover. Snow was an excellent host who tailored the experience to our interests, happily allowing us extra time in the places we enjoyed most. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai — it is truly a must-see experience.

I had a fantastic time...

I had a fantastic time with snow! She did such a good job. She explained all the history behind everything we saw and the place she took us for lunch was fantastic. She even told me when some of the gifts I was gonna buy were too expensive. She was very honest and listened to our wishes. The driver she came with was very courteous and safe. We felt very comfortable and safe with them and snow even recommended more ways we can enjoy Shanghai! You should definitely book this tour! And bonus if you get snow!

Our tour guide Jim was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant! He fielded many questions both food and non-food related and shared fun anecdotes related to my family’s interests. We only wished that we had taken this tour earlier in our trip because it was so much fun and informative. I’m not sure if different tours or available through this operator, but I would sign up for more to bring us through different historical sites or neighborhoods based on the wonderful experience we had.

Our absolute FAVORITE experience in Shanghai! A highly recommended activity! We saw a beautiful view of the skyline and dinner was delicious. We toured with Kalvin, and he was absolutely amazing! Good by day - spectacular by night

First half was an 1 hour cruise around the river - majority of buildings are covered in led's and whole area becomes both very colourful and atmospheric. Second part is a road transfer to Yu Garden where the buildings are all bathed in pastel light, this highlighting their ancient design. So that was the trip, but the whole event was made more than special by our guide 'Autumn'. Not only did she queue for hours during the afternoon before picking us up - this to ensure we had the best 'VIP' boat seating, she also managed to get us into all the Yu Garden areas before all the throngs of tourists arrived. Finally she added another walk around the magically lite French Concession area. The whole trip was simply superb.
