Cesky Krumlov was a very interesting and beautiful place, but what made it special was the tour guide, who was outstanding. The company we used was small and fairly new, but marvellous and I can’t recommend them highly enough. We had pre-booked before going to Prague and hoped that it would be good, but everything from the pick up and drop off to Jana's driving standard and her command of English and historic knowledge was excellent. We hadn't chosen the optional lunch in Cesky Krumlov, as my travelling companion is vegetarian and we weren't sure of the menu choices. However, when we mentioned this to Jana, she recommended a vegetarian restaurant to us overlooking the river and serving very good food (just be aware they don't take credit cards). She even took us right there before going on with the only other couple in the party to their chosen restaurant. On our way to Holasovice, Jana was telling us about the history of the area and I mentioned that my late mother-in-law came from a village nearby, Jaronin, many years ago. When we passed a sign for Jaronin being just 2 kilometres away, Jana checked with our fellow tourists whether they minded a slight detour, and we set off to find Jaronin. It was only a tiny hamlet, but very special to me, and I can't thank Jana enough for her thoughtfulness in undertaking the 10 minute detour. Jana went over and above in every way and the company deserves to be overwhelmed with bookings!

Matt was absolutely exceptional and made our time in Prague unforgettable. Traveling with teenagers can sometimes be challenging, but Matt had an incredible ability to keep our entire family engaged, interested, and entertained throughout the tour. His knowledge of Prague’s history, culture, and hidden gems was impressive, but what truly set him apart was his storytelling. He brought the city to life with fascinating stories, humor, and insights that kept even our teenagers fully involved from start to finish. Matt was friendly, professional, patient, and genuinely passionate about sharing his city. He answered every question thoughtfully and tailored the experience to our family’s interests, making it feel personal rather than scripted. We have taken many tours around the world, and Matt ranks among the very best guides we have ever had. If you’re visiting Prague and have the opportunity to tour with him, don’t hesitate—you will leave with a deeper appreciation for the city and wonderful memories. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

Very informative, both in history of the Czech Republic and of KintaHora. Our guide, Honda, was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. The trip down to salt mine was quite exciting and the lunch was outstanding. Architecture and history of something not to miss.
