Great tour of Polermo
Valerie was a fantastic tour leader. Her passion and knowledge of the history of Palermo was incredible. She knows everyone in the market. It was a very hot day and Valerie was very considerate of how the group was coping with the heat. I highly recommend the tour and Towns of Italy. I have taken many tours with them in other cities.

Good informative tour
Good informational tour about the history of Palermo and Sicily and the impact of the mafia. However, we felt the tour was a little long and the presentation somewhat long-winded.

This was a really interesting tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject and really bought it to life. It was very authentic and has left me wanting to return to Palermo. Our kids were with us (14 and 17) and they found it harder to stick with, as they had very little awareness of the subject. They do now!

Excellent Way To Tour Palermo
Fabrizio, our tour guide was amazing. He was knowledgeable, very easy to understand, and did an excellent job showing us the sites and explaining the history. Just make VERY sure there are no reports of extreme hot weather/fires, etc. We were on a cruise and the fires on the roads from Palermo to Catania closed the roads, so our bus ride back to Catania took seven hours instead of two, which means we missed our ship leaving the port for two days. Other than that, the tour itself was amazing!
