Top Malta Day Trips

We were collected by Christopher right outside our hotel front door on time to the second. He was friendly from the start and immediately made it clear this was our day to spend as we wished. No pressure from him to do anything in particular which is refreshing when you consider some guide experiences can be highly prescriptive which this was not. As we made our way from one location to another we often stopped briefly for a piece of history or natural wonder that we wouldn’t have necessarily spotted on our own. Christopher is very knowledgable making him a great guide and was able to bring stories to life with local colour and his own local family history. He always found a way of beating queues and stopping as close as possible to destinations to make things even easier. We were with Christopher for the best part of seven hours but it only felt like half that number and we could happily have gone even further afield than we did. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Friendly, knowledgable and professional at all times. We were made to feel like royalty on tour.

This is an excellent way to see the main sites of Gozo in one day. Our driver was informative and friendly. We could have used more time to see the citadel and less time at the beach with the now collapsed arch, but that was primarily because boat rides into the inland sea cave weren’t operating. The swim stop at the Blue Lagoon was a lovely way to end the trip. Overall a wonderful day.

It is a great tour and would do it again when it is a little warmer. The tuk tuk driver was the best and he is from Holland but has been living in Gozo for over 50 years. Only issue was the wind and arriving back 1 1/2 hours late as we were first pickup last to return.

Gerald made a full day across Malta feel effortless. We covered Mdina, Rabat, Marsaxlokk, the Blue Grotto, plus Ħaġar Qim Temples, Mnajdra Temples, Għar Dalam, and Borġ in-Nadur without any stress. We realized that Malta can be logistically tricky. Gerald made it simple, efficient, and relaxed. He’s the perfect mix of driver & guide, flexible, and great at pacing each stop. Safe driving, punctual, clear communication, clean car with strong AC, and helpful local tips. Perfect for anyone wanting to see Malta’s highlights without the hassle. 100% worth it. Really enjoyed this tour! Our guide, Mike, was very friendly, knowledgable of Malta sights, and full of interesting history nuggets. His driving was great, and took us to all the great sights. Our butts were wore out after 8 full hours of sightseeing! Great value for one or two couples without a rental car.

We had such a great experience on the Blue Lagoon boat tour! The boat itself was spacious with plenty of deck chairs upstairs to relax and enjoy the views. The stops for swimming and snorkeling were amazing, and the crew made it even better — they were so friendly, welcoming, and full of helpful information. Onboard, there was a great selection of food, drinks, and even ice cream, plus the option to hire snorkels and lockers which was super convenient. A really well-organized and enjoyable trip — highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic trip. Ginger, our Skipper, was brilliant. He was very accommodating, friendly and knowledgable. We had the best 3 hours and our only complaint was that we wished we had booked a longer tour as we didn’t want it to end! The boat was immaculate too.

Wonderful day with our driver who was most informative about local history and customs. He ensured we were most comfortable and ensured we did not have to walk very far in the heat of the day. Blue grotto trip was icing on the cake. Thank you so much.
