Top Cardiff Ghost & Vampire Tours

The Cardiff Dark Side Tour shows you the other side of the Welsh capital. Cardiff is a city renowned for its castle and its rugby stadium, built on the success of the Bute family and the coal exporting industry. However, it has a darker edge that one doesn't see today, one of hangings, executions, graveyards and disease, for example. Even the most innocuous locations of central Cardiff that we walk by every day may have been the location of execution or slum.

It’s an orientation tour of Cardiff that takes you into the darker past of the capital city of Wales. This professionally guided Cardiff walking tour, led by a Wales Official Tourist Guide, sees us visiting, over the two hours and two miles walked, some of the major landmarks as well as locations infamous for dark deeds, hauntings and miscarriages of justice. By the end of the tour, you will have a mental map of the city centre, and some tall tales told that will certainly not ease you into a good nights sleep… But that’s what this tour is all about! Unsettling tales and spooky occurrences. You will be regaled with stories of murders, restless spirits, the innocent hanged and of people that disappeared, never to be seen again… The tour ends at The Rummer, Cardiff’s most haunted pub. Here, you can remain for a pint, or you can continue your exploration of Cardiff on your own… If you dare ;)
