Itineraries for Your Trip to Ibiza
3 Days in Ibiza for First Timers
Ibiza is famous for mega nightclubs and big-name DJs, but my favorite things about the island have nothing to do with partying. The island’s landscapes are among the most idyllic in Spain, featuring hidden beach coves, rocky cliffs, pine tree-lined hiking trails, and crystal-clear Mediterranean waters.
The island of Ibiza is a place where I feel like I can do it all—morning yoga classes, afternoon boat cruises, and evening strolls for tapas with friends. If you have three days in Ibiza, you can also have a well-rounded vacation full of activities—here’s what to do and see on your next 3-day trip.
If you only have time for one thing, make it a boat trip out on Ibiza’s clear, beautiful water.
Bring your swimsuit and sunblock to Ibiza, as summers are warm and sunny.
Day 1 The best way to get to know Ibiza’s hidden coves, secret caves, and gorgeous beaches is by boat. You can rent your own boat, or take a sailing tour, booze cruise, or private catamaran trip—there’s a boating adventure to fit your preferences, whether you're a party animal or on your honeymoon.
Afterward, drive or take a taxi or rideshare to your meeting point for a guided hike or an ATV adventure, where you'll explore the island’s dirt trails to discover some of the best viewpoints on the island.
Because Ibiza’s waters are so clear, snorkeling should be at the top of your list. Plus, many of the island’s best coves and caves are only accessible by sea, and kayaking is the perfect way to explore them. Many kayaking tours also come with the option to snorkel, so you can do both.
Back on dry land, drive or take a taxi or rideshare to explore Ibiza’s food scene—including the island’s famous sobresada, a cured sausage. The island also cultivates wine, so make sure to pair your tapas with vino.
Wellness is big in Ibiza, and yoga classes are offered at hotels, studios, and even on paddleboards in the sea or pool. Start your last day with a few moments of movement and meditation.
Round out your Ibiza adventure with a bit of pool and beach party fun. Many hotels offer pool parties for their guests, or you can purchase a ticket even if you’re not staying at the hotel. If you want to experience a few different pool and beach parties all in one day (and night), a party crawl is your best bet, and it includes transportation.
