What are people saying about Williamsburg

Extremely interesting. ...
Extremely interesting. Patrick had an extensive background knowledge of both the Williamsburg area and of centuries of historical events that took place here. A guide who can hold the rapt attention of a 14-year-old for 90 minutes is worth his weight in gold, and Patrick did just that!

DC in a Day!
On a whim, I purchased tickets for our family with children, to tour DC for the day. We have no regrets! Matt was amazing from start to finish, learning our children’s names the moment they got on the bus, engaging with them through the day, putting a movie on that was family-friendly on the way back, and even returning a forgotten souvenir to us (when I say he went the extra mile, I mean it literally and figuratively!). Additionally, he was full of knowledge and everyone learned so much. If you want to see a little bit of a lot, without the stress of navigating a busy city, this is the tour for you. We left DC having walked through Arlington, checked out many monuments and memorials, and getting some time to go into one of the Smithsonian museums on our own. We saw still more at a distance and heard engaging stories and history all throughout the day. It truly was a great experience for all of us, and I highly recommend it! Note: I would not recommend this for children under 7, as this is a very long day (15+ hours from start to finish). For the enjoyment of everyone involved, I’d stick with older children, especially those with a love of history.

Bus tour with Matt. Jamestown and Yorktown.
Our guide was Matt. The entire experience was wonderful. It seemed every few minutes we learned something new that we never knew before. I love history, but he kept introducing new concepts that we never knew before. He’s a very special man. I highly recommend him. It gave us faith that this country has been through challenging times and has come back.

Informative and a great deal for the $$$.
Very informative! Cool things to see that you won't see anywhere else! Elizabeth knows so many amazing historical facts and her crush on Patrick Henry is so sweet! You'll walk and stand a lot but there are moments for sitting and ability to buy cold drinks along the way (or bring your own). Worth noting because it was quite warm the day we went. Colonial Williamsburg and the founding of our nation are so worthwhile and this is a great way to learn and a good deal for the cost. Have fun!

Williamsburg, Virginia, might be known for its colonial history, but the diversity of Williamsburg tours might surprise you. Step back in time at Colonial Williamsburg, where costumed interpreters bring the 18th century to life. Explore the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown and the historic Jamestown Settlement. Hunt for ghosts in the historic district or cruise along the James River. For family fun, visit Busch Gardens theme park.
