It was such an amazing experience! We had the opportunity to learn about and make traditional Albanian dishes and meet so many great people from all over the world! Maris was host chef and he is such a gracious and exceptional host! He is also very involved with helping others is his community and that is something I want to commend him for! I would absolutely do this again and encourage you to book a class if you’re ever in Albania!

Compared to other neighboring countries this is probably the least popular one so instead of a big bus we were on a 20 person van. Initially I was worried that the trip won't happen due to lack of interest but today we managed to have a group of 15, mostly Americans. First we went to Pritzen then Pristina. Time we spent in both cities were very brief since the way back is a 4 hour drive. But we managed to see the key sights (both cities are small) and had a great meal in Pristina at the end. Border crossing was a breeze. Meetup was 6:30am and we got back into town around 9:30pm. Overall worth the trip if you just want to say you made it to another new country. It's a great way to transport into Kosovo as well instead of taking a public bus from Tirana. Bring an umbrella in the summer. It gets REALLY hot.

This was such a great experience, from start to finish! Dressing up in albanian traditional clothing, being seated with other guests in a traditional setting for an albanian show/wedding with songs, dancing, we loved everything of the show, the animator was a great performer and even our kids aged 6-8-10 loved the show. Definitely recommended for the whole family!

Ramadan was an amazing guide super caring with great humour and smile made sure we were looked after! Views were incredible and despite the heat the hike was manageable! Cute lunch in restaurant afterwards and our driver was great! Very careful with the mountain roads! Blue eye was freezing though. Difficult to swim in

Armela was one of the best tour guides I have ever had! She was thorough, but succinct and made sure to hit the highlights while giving us plenty of free time to check things out in both cities. I really appreciated the pacing and it made the day go by quickly even with a lot of driving involved in the tour (which I find can get monotonous).

This is probably the best way to see Bovilla since driving there would be more stress than it is worth. We had Antonio as our guide, and he was good. The hike is a bit strenuous, but the view is amazing. The stop at the water and restaurant at the end is a nice touch.

I had a fantastic day visiting Kruja Castle and the Sarisalltik site — a truly memorable experience from start to finish. Our guide Arber was a cool guy: relaxed, welcoming, and effortlessly organised. The WhatsApp group he set up beforehand was a real bonus — clear tips, timely updates, and helpful reminders made meeting up and planning transport straightforward and stress-free. Arber brought the history to life with sharp facts and charming anecdotes, and his sense of humour kept everyone engaged throughout the walk. The castle’s dramatic views and the atmospheric Old Bazaar were real highlights, and Arber pointed out local details you’d otherwise miss. Practical details were handled smoothly, the pace was comfortable, and the group vibe was relaxed and enjoyable. If you’re heading to Kruja and thinking about the Sarisalltik tour, I’d highly recommend going with Arber — great communication, brilliant guiding, and a genuinely enjoyable day out.

A brilliant day out from Tirana. Berat is stunning with so much history and so much to see. Our guide Ilir was fantastic - amazing how much he added to our experience. Thoughtful and full of interesting insights into Berat and Albania. Great value and definitely highly recommended
