This unique gastronomic day trip takes us southeast to the forgotten "city" of Librazhd. Here we'll visit an extraordinary local winery, which only started offering visits and wine-tastings in 2019. Don't expect a stylish tasting room, or video presentations. Most of the equipment dates from before the Russian-Albanian split of the early 1960s, when the winery was shipped over from Georgia in the then Soviet Union. We'll spend an hour or so looking around the winery, and of course tasting the produce. The national park of Tomorr mountain now offers a lot more opportunities to hike, trek and explore the area. This tour can be arranged in two options, to reach either the castle of Tomorri or the highest peak of the mountain. With the first option, we will drive for about 1.5 hrs to reach the village of Tomorr and then from there start hiking up toward the castle of Tomorri. The hike/trek is around 1.5 – 2 hrs depending on the travelers’ level. We will then reach the place called ‘Qafa e Skures’ in where we will rest and enjoy the fantastic view of the mountain just in front of us. We can have lunch in here or around 80m above, at the castle (ruins of the castle). An experienced local guide will be with us to tell us some of the most interesting stories, legends and cultural heritage of the area. We will get down through another shorter way, to enjoy another view of the park and village as well.

Pellumbas Cave Tour in Tirana. The Black Cave, also known as the cave of Pëllumbas (650 m above sea level), is valued by specialists as one of the most precious karstic caves and prehistoric settlement in Albania (declared natural monument in 2002). In this cave were found skeletons, which according to the Museum of Natural Sciences of Florence University, belong to cave bears (Ursus Speleaus), that lived from 400 000 to 10 000 years ago. There are only five caves of this kind in Europe. Different from similar European caves, this karstic cave has also remnants of human culture, which according to Tirana Archaeological Institute belong to the period of Palaeolithic in Ancient Middle Ages. It is thought that the cave has been inhabited since the beginning of human society, about 30,000 years ago.

Best experience I’ve ever had

I went on this tour solo, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences I’ve ever had — easily a 10/10! 🙌 We visited Gamti Mountain, Bovilla Lake, and Krujë, and every single place was absolutely stunning. The nature was breathtaking, and the view from Gamti Mountain is something you truly shouldn’t miss. My guide, Gjenc, was simply amazing. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything about the places in a really engaging way, but he was also fantastic at taking photos. I’ve honestly never had such beautiful pictures of myself before, that alone made the experience even more special! We also had extra time during the tour, and on the way back to Tirana, he took me to an archaeological site that wasn’t even part of the original itinerary. That made the whole experience feel even more unique and personal. Overall, a perfect tour with a guide who truly makes a difference. Highly recommended! 🌟

Great Experience

The city of Berat is very nice and picturesque with rich history. Definitely worth visiting. The hike to castle is not difficult and there are places to rest in between. Our tour guide and driver both were very good. They were very professional and didn't rush anything. There was plenty of time to explore on our own after the tour.Overall it was a very good experience.

Very good!

Everything was great! Our guide Paola was fantastic, very kind, helpful and always smiling. The trip was well organized with enough time to visit all the spots, plus Paola guided us through the Berat castle, explaining a bit of its history. We just had some issue in the beginning because some customer was in late and we had to wait a lot for them. That didn't depend by the organizer though, but just by people showing no respect for the others. Anyway, apart from that everything was great.

Great day trip to Kruja castle

I recently went to visit Kruja castle with my daughter. The instructions were clearly communicated the day before the trip and the guide Ervin was marvellous. He is very knowledgeable and calm. FIrstly we went to visit the Sarisaltik temple and this was very interesting. Then wee proceeded to Kruja castle. It is a very beatiful spot. We then had some free time and we had lunch in a beautiful restaurant within the castle and then we visited the Skodenberg museum. Finally we had a quick walk through the bazar and bought some souvenirs. It was a very enjoyable day and Ervin was very good at giving information and also had very good jokes! I recommend this trip to anyone as it was very well worth the money!

Great tour of highlights of Pristina and Prizren with (for us) a focus on politics and conflicts.

We found this tour to be very educational. We were interested in the various conflicts involving Albania and the area and also in the "fall of Yugoslavia" and how if affected Albania. Our guide, Redi, was very knowledgeable of this history and of the current politics. =We had tours of the highlights of Pristina and Prizren and ate at a wonderful restaurant in Pristina that Redi was familiar with.

Great day trip -...

Great day trip - Montenegro is beautiful and I think this is a nice alternative way to visit it. While most people go to Kotor via Dubrovnik, this trip from Tirana also incorporates Sveti Stefan and Budvar. It is a long drive but the mountainous scenery and ocean compensate for the distance. Klodi went above and beyond and was a great companion for the day. I particularly enjoyed his love for nature - he was always willing to stop for scenic photo opportunities and even suggested a few of his own additional stops. A very memorable adventure, and highly recommended.

Great trip!
