1. Kandaka Shojuen, a gentle slope leads from Prefectural Route 33 towards Takamatsu Nishi High School. This is the main street of bonsai known as "Bonsai Street." Along the way, the towering "Dohyo-iri" pine tree serves as a landmark, and that's where you'll find "Kandaka Shojuen." 2. Kitatani Yoseien, located northeast of Kinashi Station, is home to 400 to 500 black pine bonsai trees estimated to be over 100 years old, collected from the mountains and potted on Seto Inland Sea islands about 60 years ago.

"Awa" refers to the old name of Tokushima Prefecture, and "odori" means "dance".
