2-Day Hike through the Scenic Valleys of Mt. Seoraksan from Seoul

The most prominent mountain is Seoraksan National Park with breathtaking pinnacles, beautiful valleys, cliffs, scenic waterfalls, located on the east-central part, and is the most popular with tourists and hikers. Seoraksan is listed by the Korean government with UNESCO as a tentative World Heritage site and designated as a nature reserve in 1965 and UNESCO designated it as a biosphere reserve in 1982. Know before you go

Beautiful rock formations seen from the Ulsanbawi Rock, Sokcho, South Korea.

Wear sturdy hiking shoes with a good grip and take a waterproof jacket to put on at the top, as it can feel cold.
There’s an entrance fee of US$3.50 to enter Seoraksan National Park, with a discount for children.
Several cafés and restaurants serving hot drinks and food are within the park, as well as a few vending machines. Prices are much higher than in nearby Sokcho.
