We had a very...
We had a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide, Stefan, who was not only super informative educating us on the rich history of the region but also made us laugh throughout our stops on the four cities tour of beautiful Bosnia and Herzegovina. I particularly liked that he gave us time to explore and take pictures. The weather was wonderful and we had a delightful experience. I would highly recommend.

Incredible, emotional and eye opening experience. A must do when visiting Bosnia
An incredibly sad but important and eye opening experience which is a must if you are ever travelling to Bosnia. Emir was a fantastic guide and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him, listening to his perspectives on the war and genocide in Bosnia, and life in the country since. I couldn’t recommend a better tour group to do this experience through. The entire day ran seamlessly, and we had ample time to walk through the museum and cemetery. Thank you for sharing your countries history with us.

Brilliant, must do Sarajevo City Tour
A brilliant half day experience learning about the history of Sarajevo, whilst taking in all of the main sites and attractions. Would highly recommend booking this experience if travelling to Sarajevo - our guide was fantastic and great at telling stories about the cities history, including during the War. The whole experience was well organised and seamlessly. If you have limited time in Sarajevo, this is a brilliant way to see and learn about the city.

Excellent Informative Tour
Ahmed was a spectacular guide, speaking about both the immense history of Sarajevo and BiH in general, but also about his personal experiences living through the war and how life is in Bosnia today. Highly recommend to get a taste of everything Sarajevo has to offer!

Brilliant tour! Thank you!
Brilliant tour! Our guide Alaan (sorry if I misspelled) was wonderful. Very knowledgable, friendly, caring and accommodating. It’s so lovely to see somebody so passionate about his country and sharing it with the world. Well organised tour with loads packed in but enough time at each spot. It is a long day but goes quickly with so much to see and do. They even provided delicious Bosnian sandwiches mid-morning as lunch was scheduled around 15:30. There isn’t a very long drive which is good- 2hrs on the way home was the longest. Perfect mixture of history, culture, and natural beauty in this tour. 100% recommend, one of the best tours we’ve done, you won’t find better value for money! Thank you!

A top class tour
I recently did the Roses of Sarajevo tour and it was one of the best tours I have experienced anywhere.
Mark was excellent. He was personable, kind and incredibly engaging. What really set him apart was the way he shared his own life experiences. His perspective is very personal and unique, and it brought the reality of the siege of Sarajevo to life in a way that felt genuine rather than rehearsed.
There were only three of us in the car, which made a big difference. It felt relaxed and allowed for proper conversation rather than feeling like you were being talked at.
The tour itself was very well paced and we enjoyed every minute. The Tunnel of Hope is an absolute must when visiting Sarajevo and seeing it with the context Mark provided made it even more impactful. The Olympic mountain was great fun and we even walked along the old toboggan run despite the snow, which was a highlight.
East Sarajevo was a shorter part of the tour but still interesting, especially with the historical and political context explained so clearly. The Jewish cemetery was also a fascinating stop and added another layer to understanding the city.
What stood out most was Mark himself. He offers a perspective that is young, educated and thoughtful. He is articulate, insightful and clearly cares deeply about what he is sharing.
Parts of the tour are very personal to him. While I have seen other reviews mention these, it does not feel right to repeat them here. What I will say is that it left a lasting impression on me. I have already listened to an interview with him and will be seeking out more of his work.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sarajevo.

Wonderful experience and service
Tarik was excellent with knowledge about Bosnian history and culture, and offer brilliant service. I was really lucky as I was the only customer that day in winter season even though some of the programme isn’t open but Tarik was quite flexible and accommodating, it was a great experience in Bosnia. Definitely recommend.

This was a beautiful and...
This was a beautiful and engaging day trip that combined stunning scenery with a broader understanding of Bosnia’s long and layered history. The stops in Travnik and Jajce offered a wonderful mix of old fortresses, historic towns, and incredible natural landscapes.
The views were a major highlight—especially the waterfalls and elevated viewpoints—which made the day feel both visually impressive and culturally enriching. Rather than focusing on a single period, the tour helped place Bosnia’s history in a wider context, spanning centuries and giving a fuller sense of how the country’s past fits together.
Our guide, Senad, was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly, and his explanations were clear and engaging throughout the day. He also brought a great sense of warmth to the tour, occasionally adding light humor that made the experience feel relaxed and welcoming without taking away from the substance.
One small note for travelers: if you’re visiting in winter, some of the smaller, tourist-oriented towns and shops may be fairly quiet or closed for the season. This didn’t take away from the experience for me, but it’s helpful to know when planning.
This was a memorable and well-rounded tour, and a great way to experience both the beauty and the depth of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Reliable company and great tour
I really appreciated that they didn't cancel the tour because I was the only customer (it's supposed to be a "group" tour); totally reliable!
Ensar was both a good guide and good driver, could answer all my questions and gave me as muche time as I wanted at every stop.
Especially liked the waterfall and the city of Mostar.

A lot to see and, because...
A lot to see and, because of that, a long day from hotel pick up to hotel drop off (about 12 hours).
Jasmin, the driver and guide, did a great job. He provided good background information about each place we visited, plenty of breaks and enough time to see what the group wanted to see.
If you are in Sarajevo, I suggest you take this tour to get an insight to the complex history of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Best Balkan Road Trip
Funky tours provided a car seat for the baby. The communication with the agency was also perfect over WhatsApp.
Alja is a fantastic guide and an awesome driver. She gave a nice go through the history of Bosnia from Ottoman times to the present days. The details of development during Yugoslavia time, the people, the culture, food habits, Partisan Resistance, Tito and the darkest part - the Bosnian War. She suggested places to eat and buy snacks during the trip. The smooth drive through the mountains, valleys and mists was mind blowing.
Highly recommended

I left a big piece of my heart in Bosnia & Herzegovina
The tour was supposed to be just a nice end to our 16-day journey through Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Little did we know it would become the absolute highlight of the entire trip. The nature we witnessed during the circular hike was nothing short of breathtaking, and the experience was further enhanced by the remoteness, peace, and silence — and the absence of any crowds. The stories Kenan shared with us along the trek were enriching and thought-provoking.
We also immensely enjoyed the lunch prepared by the warm and welcoming inhabitants of Lukomir. The women of Lukomir are excellent craftswomen, and we were delighted to support their beautiful tradition by purchasing several locally knitted garments.
We could not recommend this trip enough. We left a big piece of our hearts in Bosnia & Herzegovina and know we will be back. Thank you, Kenan, for making it such a fun and memorable day!
