After the trek, take part in an authentic Hmong beeswax painting workshop, where you'll discover the traditional wax-resist technique used to create intricate textile patterns and create your own piece of artwork to take home. As you explore Cat Cat Village, you'll discover local customs, traditional houses, and everyday life while a professional photographer captures natural and meaningful moments throughout the journey.

Learn about the history of indigo batik among the Hmong people in Sapa and discover how it became part of their traditional dress. During the workshop, you’ll hear the story of how batik began, then create your own piece to take home. Before starting, the guide will explain the process and share a legend about honey collectors who discovered indigo dye and wax techniques, which inspired the unique patterns still used today.
