Great day trip
This is a great trip for those who want to get out of Munich but don’t like being on the road much. About 1.5 hours to Harburg, followed by a 1 hours break to stretch your leg, and finally another 1.5 hour to Rothenburg. There we got 3 hours to explore shops, food, and museums. Sven helped us every step of the way and even provided tips for your day outside the paid tour.

Wonderful tour!
Have traveled with Viator previously and they never disappoint. Tour guide great, bus was clean, quiet and comfortable. Bus driver was excellent, we arrived early to our activities.

Thorough day tour with transportation
Nice to be driven there and back and not to worry about transportation. Pay the extra money and see inside the castle. Rothenburg was quaint and cute with delicious food and sweets. Bus driver Elia was quite young but a terrific driver. Tour guide Melony was thorough, but sometimes rushed a bit much as we walked into the town. Otherwise, she was terrific. She even translated a bit for a few Spanish speakers (on an English-speaking tour).

Nice Romantic Road Tour
There is a lot of bus time on this tour but our Melinda and our driver Waldemar made it pass smoothly and swiftly. Harburg castle was a fascinating medieval fortress and Rothenburg is a quaint medieval town. Since it was March not every shop was open but the crowds of tourists were almost nonexistent. The weather rained a tad but did not ruin the day.
