Top Rhode Island Trolley Tours

Truly enjoyed this tour. Trolley Rob was our guide, and he was very entertaining, engaging, and knowledgeable of the area. He also provided money saving travel tips to the group. I also liked that he requested all phones be shut off and conversations be kept to a minimum so you could actually hear the tour and the information being presented to you. The tour bus was very comfortable with clear view large windows making it easy to see everything. My only regret is that I did not purchase the correct tour. My intention was to purchase the tour with the Breakers tour included and I inadvertently purchased just the tour on the trolley. I would do this tour again but I would include the stop at the Breakers Mansion in my ticket.

It was an open air trolley so it’s going to be windy and cold on sunny days that you think will be warm (sunny and 68 degrees)…so bring a jacket, just in case. The tour guy was very informative and knowledgeable and gave a lot of tidbits. This was great for a quick weekend to see what Newport RI has to offer. We didn’t rent a car so this hit all the spots we wanted to see.

We had a fantastic experience on our Newport Tour. Our Driver/Tour Guide "Ray" was exceptionally great. Being a "local guy" he made our tour incredibly informative. Not only did he give us in-depth info about Newport, the Mansions and the city's amazingly important history he made it even more interesting with his personal stories. The tour of the Marble House was also very good. This tour exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely recommend it when you visit beautiful Newport Rhode Island. Thank you
