A Must-Do in Newport

This was the best way to see and learn about the Guilder Age mansions, as well as other sites around Newport. Our guide Carlos was extremely knowledgeable about the mansions, their residents, and their histories. We could not have seen and learned about everything without this tour. This was the highlight of our trip to Newport. Highly recommend!

Best tour ever….

This tour was one of the best I ever went on. The driver was so informative and friendly. He said he grew up here and still lives here so he gave a personal touch to the tour. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the area and also the history of a lot of the mansions. The tour exceeded our expectstions.

Great Trolly Tour

Tour guide Ray was very knowledgeable. He is native to the area so able to give variety of history in the area. Weather was beautiful and were able to see so many lovely things. I would absolutely recommend going into the breakers as part of the tour.

The 90 minute Trolley was great!

We were on a New England cruise stop and purchased the trolley tickets a month earlier. The 90 minute non stop drive was sufficient to see and have photos of the mansions. The driver/ tour guide was very knowledgeable. The trolley was very clean and nice.

Informational. Fun. Beautiful. Balance guided and personal exploration

You will have a little over 1 hour in the mansion you selected. The mansions are pamphlet read tours or audio tours using an app. There is a 1.5 drive around Newport to see historic sites and some modern day mansions, an hour in mansion, and then half hour to get back in town.

Best View of New Port

Carlos was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful! He narrated our tour constantly with interesting facts, pointed out unique landmarks and his comical wit made the experience even more enjoyable! Carlos even made recommendations for authentic dining. The open trolley was perfect for taking photos and it was a very pleasant ride (77 degrees and partly sunny) with the breeze flowing as we rode through this stunning town of New Port. My sister and I took the trolley ride that included admission to The Breakers Mansion, which was approximately 3 hours in its entirety. Perfect outing and the length of the tour was just right. If you are vacationing in New England it’s definitely worth the drive to New Port. Arrive 20-30 prior to your departure time in order to park and take a restroom break prior to your tour. I absolutely plan to return with more family members in the near future and do a longer tour including the cliff walk. I will definitely book with this company again! It was a lovely place to see and the service was great!!!
