For the money, a good...

For the money, a good tour. We spent 2 hours on the trail and in the stream, would have liked more time to explore the stream. Kevin our guide was new, but did a good job sharing knowledge.

Nice jungle hike

Edgar gave our group a great tour of the jungle at night. He’s very knowledgable of jungle wildlife and was enthusiastic. The abundance and diversity of wildlife was surprising. The whole experience, including dinner afterwards was quite enjoyable. Thanks for a great tour.

We had the best time...

We had the best time doing a night tour at Rainmaker with our tour guide Enderson. He was SO fun and enthusiastic, and you can tell he loves what he does. He was able to spot lots of wildlife we would never have been able to see on our own. After the tour, we ate a nice dinner at the shelter house. It was simple, but very good! Highly recommend! A really cool experience all around.

On-time and as described, but you can easily self-guide

Jade Tours was reliable — on-time pickup and the tour ran the length we agreed on. The Rainmaker Park Hanging Bridges & Waterfalls route was exactly as described. Still, for a daytime visit (we went in January), it’s a simple loop and easy enough to do without a guide. Wildlife-wise, we didn’t see much beyond insects, and we did a short dip at the waterfall. My only real complaint is that about halfway through, we started to feel rushed. The guide also let our small group (around 6 people) spread out too much, so it didn’t feel very cohesive — more like hurrying through than taking our time. Also worth mentioning: the guide stepped off the path and picked up a millipede for people to hold, which felt unusual and unnecessary. Overall, it was “as promised,” but for this daytime tour, I’d recommend doing the park on your own.
