Moconá Jumps are located 337 km from the city of Posadas and 322 km from Iguazu. It is one of the great landscapes of the province of Misiones, a geological fault where Yabotí, Pepirí Guazú, Uruguay, Serapio and Calixto rivers meet. This incredible jump is the result of a break in the mantle of basalt massif of Brasilia. Right where then run the Uruguay River, there was the "crack" of more than 3 km long and 120 km depth that is where today the river falls creating one of the most beautiful landscapes of Misiones. When the river is low enough, you can appreciate the full extent, countless jumps up to 20 meters high. Important: The observation of Moconá jumps depend on the height of the Uruguay River because at times the river level grows and does not allow to contemplate in all its glory this natural spectacle. The route is extensive, it will be about 330km of distance that will be done in about 4:30 hours per section.

Good team but probably best to use public transport to save time

The guide and driver were very good, well done! However, on reflection I should have used public transport. The benefits are outweighed by always waiting for the slowest in the group. Three people didn’t listen to the instructions and we waited 45 minutes for them. Then there are all the hotel collections and drop offs. We also had to wait for people to buy tickets despite the fact most of us bought them online. So think hard about just taking a public bus, but I was happy with our guide and driver.

We had an exceptional experience with Nicholas as our private guide for a full day visiting both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of Iguazú Falls. Nicholas met us at our hotel precisely at the agreed-upon time, and from that point on, the entire day could not have gone better. We were especially glad we chose to have a private guide because we had only one day to experience both sides of the Falls. Nicholas made the entire day easy, efficient, and very well planned. His knowledge of the area and his recommendations were invaluable. He knew how to navigate the border crossings, how to make the most of our time at the Falls, and, importantly, how to avoid many of the inevitable crowds. His planning allowed us to see and experience so much without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Nicholas was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and clearly committed to making sure we had a great experience. Having him guide us through both Argentina and Brazil made a complicated one-day itinerary remarkably easy. We had a really great day...

We had a really great day on this tour. The tour was advertised to start at 8:30am, but our hotel pickup was actually at 6:45am. At first, we thought it was going to be a very early start, but honestly, it was worth it. Because we started early, we managed to cover everything comfortably and were back at our hotel before 4pm. Our guide, Leticia, was excellent. She was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable, and she made the whole day enjoyable. She also did a great job keeping us on schedule without making us feel rushed. We visited Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, the stadium with the Pele statue at the entrance, and the colourful Selaron Steps. Every place was interesting and gave us a different experience of Rio. And the lunch was a real highlight too, the food was sumptuous and exactly what we needed after a morning of sightseeing! Overall, it was a very well organised and enjoyable tour. A special thank you to Leticia for making our day in Rio so memorable. We were really happy that we chose this tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to see the main highlights of Rio in one day.

Amazing time

We had an amazing day with Willian on our tour around iguazu falls. He picked us up and told us about the history of the parks and the area. He took us to the area where Brazilian, Argentina, and Paraguay meet. Since it was a private tour, he adjusted to our wants and needs. Even though it rained some, we still had a great day in the park. Definitely book your tour with Willian and you won’t be disappointed.

The Falls from both sides of the river

Absolutely fantastic experience- the waterfalls are spectacular and you must see from both countries for the total perspective. I’d recommend doing the boat trip too though prepare to get wet. A must do experience. Our guide- Sidnei - was superb just the right level of help and information. Without him we’d have been stuck in the lines. Overall one of the best things I’ve done.

We had an amazing time! ...

We had an amazing time! So glad we selected the private tour as well as two days. Nelson was outstanding - going above and beyond for us. We spent out first day on the Argentina side and were able to hike all the main trails. Day 2 was the Brazil side which I expected to be shorter but somehow we filled it up! Everything was outstanding, Nelson was wonderful, the area breathtaking - a for sure trip! Side note - it turns out we picked a nice time of year to visit (late May/early June) - more comfortable temperatures and crowds were manageable.

Getting wet under the Iguazu Falls!!! Wow!!!

Carlos is a highly experienced tour guide, this being his 36th year of guiding. We loved the Argentine side of the falls, having already been to the Brazilian side and a helicopter ride over the falls. But the highlight for us was being right at the Devils Throat! Wow. Then the Grand Adventure- the boat ride was AMAZING and EXHILARATING. SO MUCH FUN!! And I am 65!
