Izta Popo National Park has 2 volcanoes in one place. We have designed hiking trails so you can enjoy the incredible views of the dormant Iztaccíhuatl volcano and the active Popocatépetl volcano. Our local guide will explain the flora and fauna of the place. It lives and breathes the pure air at about 3,600 meters and 4,300 meters. The hike begins at about 3,600 meters above sea level and ends at 3,980 meters above sea level. The trail is marked sandy. The total is 8 - 9km approx of which 4km are moderate climb and 4km descent.
