From walking off the plane it was approximately 10 minutes to walk from aircraft, meet our lovely guide MJ , who got us through customs, got our bags, and to our taxi. He did an amazing job! Last time coming into Phuket was nearly an hour wait in the line for customs alone, so well and truly worth it.

If you want pure happiness, this is the place to be. As a solo traveler I often find it hard to just enjoy but this experience was absolutely amazing! I opted for the half day with lunch and WOW- From taking you to meet each and every elephant and their backstory, to helping feed them, to even making paper, this experience was absolutely amazing. Getting to see the elephants so close while still letting them live their own way without harm was eye opening and unreal! Highly recommend for all ages !

A fun day out on the boat visiting 4 different islands. You are canoeing through 2 of them with a guide making the experience epic. Beautiful scenery and sights you wouldn’t be able to get otherwise. Lunch was delicious and plentiful. The boat was large which really helps with sea sickness or travellers with young children. Tommy and his crew were very knowledgeable and helpful, having a laugh and connecting with passengers and taking plenty of photos for you

Our visit to Phuket Elephant Sanctuary was one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand. If you’re looking for a truly ethical elephant experience, this is the place to go. It was refreshing to see elephants living freely in a natural environment where their welfare comes first. Our guide, Jeffy, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the sanctuary’s mission. He shared the unique stories of each elephant, explained the rehabilitation process, and taught us about the challenges these rescued elephants have faced. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the animals and educating visitors. The elevated canopy walk provided incredible views of the elephants as they roamed, foraged, and interacted naturally without being disturbed. Watching them simply be elephants was a much more rewarding experience than any attraction that allows riding or forced interactions. The sanctuary is beautifully maintained, the staff are friendly, and the entire experience is well organized from start to finish. Knowing that our visit directly supports the rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong care of these amazing animals made it even more meaningful. Booked this for me and my 15yr old. We had a blast! It was awesome zooming around the trails, doing the swing and going to see the Big Buddha. We saw monkeys and elephants on the way. The staff were fabulous and it was a fantastic morning out. We booked the 9am slot, glad we did as it looked rather busy as we left at 12pm. It was just us and the guide, who took photos and videos throughout with our phone.

We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring Phuket with Sun Leisure World. From the moment we were picked up (a few minutes early) until we were dropped back at our hotel, everything ran seamlessly and professionally. Our guide, Bo, was exceptional. She was warm, kind, patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. We visited the temples, the Big Buddha, and Old Phuket Town, and throughout the day she happily shared fascinating information while also making the experience relaxed and enjoyable. We chatted freely, and both Bo and our driver were genuinely friendly and hospitable. One of the things we appreciated most was that at every stop Bo kindly offered to take family and group photos for us, ensuring we all had beautiful memories together. She then sent all of the photos to us via WhatsApp, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch. The air-conditioned van was clean, spacious and comfortable, with plenty of cold bottled water provided throughout the day. Every part of the tour was well organised, comfortable, and stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Phuket. While venturing out to the Phi Phi Islands during the start of rainy season is probably not something most people would recommend due to the unpredictability of the weather, what I will say is that this tour likely became the highlight of our trip because of Yaya, the captain and crewmate, as well as the patience and generosity of the manager (I’m so sorry I forgot your name but you were so lovely in the brief time we spoke). For starters, the day was looking pretty bleak and dark, and with the cost of the trip in my mind, I was worried that it was going to be a total bust. The manager and team were super understanding of the situation, and gave us multiple options to assuage our concerns given the weather conditions. That alone was huge for us right there, as we didn’t feel locked into anything we didn’t want to do especially with factors outside of our control. We decided to go with one of the options which was venturing out to James Bond Island first and then deciding later whether to do Phi Phi Islands or not. Long story short, we ended up taking the risk and deciding to do Phi Phi Islands too, and thankfully we did — the weather cooperated with us just enough and cleared up even so that we could get the maximum potential of the trip. The boat ride and journey with Yaya and the team was fantastic — they were very attentive, knowledgeable, and overall just a lot of fun to be around. Let me emphasize that they helped to make the cost of the trip beyond worth it. There’s nothing quite like walking into Maya Bay, with the weather not only cooperating with us, but the beach almost being entirely cleared out and empty because of the time of the year we selected to go. Also, Yaya is an exceptional photographer and videographer — we have some pretty insane footage that we probably would not have been able to take by ourselves without her help. Highly recommend the tour and the team we were paired with.

This was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend. The staff were incredible, friendly, attentive, and truly made the experience special. The only downside for me was the food. I ordered the vegetarian option, and while it was tasty, the main course was simply a head of broccoli with sauce, which didn’t feel very gourmet. That said, everything else was excellent, and I would still highly recommend it overall.
