Not only will you be exposed to Japanese culture, but you will actually be able to experience it for yourself. Not only can you drink traditional matcha green tea, but you can also experience sencha green tea and sweets, which are commonly consumed in Japan today.

In this experience, you can freely ask questions and take as many photos as you like during the tea ceremony. You will also create a matcha tea bowl using a traditional Japanese pottery technique called the "kurinuki" method. The experience includes a small dish as a gift, which you can use to enjoy sweets for tea ceremony at home. This double workshop is offered in our studio, a century-old two-storey building located in the Ikuno Ward. It is a very local area in Osaka, so exploring around here after the experience would be interesting and enjoyable. The bowl will be sent to the address provided after 2 months, shipping costs are NOT included in the price of the experience.

A typical cooking class is where you learn recipes and eat together, but our class also focuses on the "fun" aspect. We place emphasis on cooking while having fun with an experienced instructor. As the name of the class suggests, it is Cook, Taste and Enjoy Osaka. We use seasonal ingredients from each season of Japan. We directly purchase carefully selected Koshihikari rice from a contracted farmer in Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, known as one of the leading rice-producing areas in Japan, to provide the highest quality rice. Please choose from Course A or Course B. Both courses involve making two dishes together. Course A features sukiyaki, tempura, and rolled omelet. Course B features wagyu roast beef bowl, chicken nanban, and sashimi. Please choose Course A or Course B when making a reservation. The course lasts about two hours.

You can learn how to make hand-rolled sushi. It is really easy to make it, so you can have a sushi party at home after taking a lesson. You can choose the ingredients you like and make your original sushi, so making hand-rolled sushi is so fun. You can also try Japanese traditional food , for example, umeboshi, natto and so on in this lesson. We have an English recipe. If you want, we will prepare it for you.

Takoyaki is a very popular dish in Japan, a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special molded pan. “Tako” means octopus and “Yaki “grilled. Takoyaki was first popularized in Osaka, where a street vendor named Tomekichi Endo is credited with its invention in 1935. But since its invention, several regional specialties have developed, and more generally, everyone cooks takoyaki the way they like it. Instead of octopus, meat can be used, or cheese can be added, and so on. The classic takoyaki loved by the Japanese remains the one with octopus. Once you've finished your takiyaki, you can enjoy what you've cooked and take photos!
