A Great Tour, a Super Guide & an Amazing Time

We had just a super GREAT time on this tour. Miss Sandi, our Guide, is such a wealth of knowledge about all things Bahama. She’s what we’d call “Sandi-pedia”. Her depth of knowledge in Bahamian cultural, historical and cuisine is outstanding. Sandi led us through conch markets, tea stops, forts and historic sites all the while making it so FUN and stimulating. We’ve taken tours like these on numerous islands but this was by far the very best and Sandi was truly remarkable. If you are interested in seeing Bahamian food, drink, history and culture - then this is your tour. Vehicle was immaculate, tour started on time and was well paced. One last note: After the tour ended and we were dropped off at our hotel I accidentally left my cell phone on the floor of the tour vehicle. Panic time, right? Sandi to the rescue. She discovered my phone when she got home and was cleaning the vehicle. She turned around and drove all the way back to our hotel to return it. Unbelievable!!

Great tour! Lisa was our guide and she was knowledgeable, fun, and super friendly. She answered questions and gave us a cultural/history tour while we went to different stops. Loved that she was patient and accommodating. Lisa knew someone everywhere we went and along the way - the whole experience felt like traveling with a friend. Would highly recommend this tour and Lisa, specifically, as a guide.

So much fun!!

We truly enjoyed our excursion! We had an adult, a kid and a senior and everyone enjoyed themselves! So many favorite parts I can't name just 1! The rum cakes were delicious, the chocolate factory had amazing chocolate and shakes, and the distillery also had a delicious pina colada! Truly enjoyed learning the history of the Bahamas! Karon was super knowledgeable and entertaining- he was great! Definitely recommended!

Would recommend…

Our tour was cut short due to the weather which was not anyone’s fault. The company readily offered to refund those who couldn’t reschedule. The tour guide, Fonzi, was one of the nicest people we have met. She drove us back to our hotels and continued to tell us about the history of the different places we passed by. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and very pleasant. Highly recommend!

Mario is the best. Second time and highly recommend.

Mario was most professional and informative of the Island. He was knowledgeable about the history, different areas, things of interest to see and do and very accommodating of adjusting the tour to meet the needs of guests. Friendly, a great communicator, and will show you the best of Nassau. You can swim with pigs or you can see the real Nassau and learn about its people, history and culture. Swim at the beach another time.

Fun Day in Nassau

We had a fun day touring places in Nassau we hadn't seen before. We arrived by Cruise Ship and had a message from the tour operator that morning advising us of the exact pickup location (very close to port) and the Drivers Name and License Plate Number. We were the only 2 passengers this day, so had a private tour with our informative tour guide (Delano). He took us around various places in Nassau and we also had wine & chocolate tasting, fantastic conch fritters, and then a lunch with jerk chicken & rice. Plenty of food was provided and we wished we had eaten a smaller breakfast as we were full! Delano was a great tour guide and we enjoyed the tour. Take some small bills for tips at the fort and queen steps as we had a private presentation by an individual at each stop and wanted to give them a little extra as we were getting special attention at the stop!

Sisters excursion

Because there were only two of us, the tour was not as described; however, it was a wonderful experience. My sister and I traveled to many different places not on the itinerary. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and local rum making. We would recommend it to anyone who loves rum and a good time.

Start your day swimming with pigs!

I'm so glad I did this tour. When I got lost going to the pickup point, our guide A1 was able to give me directions by phone. It took over an hour for us to pick up the other passengers and get to Rose Island, but we stopped to see sea turtles on the way which was amazing! We also saw some puffer fish near the dock (rare sighting). When we got to the beach my friend and I went paddleboarding until the pigs were ready to swim. I had so much fun feeding and petting them. They let me hold the baby pig too! Panda (the biggest pig) lounged on the beach with us. The included lunch was delicious, make sure you bring a credit card or cash for drinks at the bar. We made it back to our ship around 2pm. Def recommend Da'PigBeach crew!

Communication once on the island is rough because you will have zero cell service. Use the QR code for city wifi! Now the experience. These folks above and beyond to make sure you have good time. I absolutely 100% recommend this tour. It just your group and not a bunch strangers. You visit a lot of local places and meet some really cool people! Oh and you will be "on your ass" when you leave.
