Experience Mount Kilimanjaro without having to devote time and training to summiting it by opting for a day trek through the park. Your guide will take you to Marangu Gate, where you'll start your trekking adventure through the rainforest. As you walk, your guide will point out different flora and fauna you see. You'll hike to Mandara Hut, where you'll have a picnic lunch, before returning to your departure point.

We’ll depart from Moshi early in the morning and drives traight to the Tarangire National Park. The park’s landscape is awe-inspiring; dotted with colossal termite mounds (some now the homes of Mr and Mrs Mongoose and all the little mongoose) and ancient baobab trees, as well as golden savannah. The park has a year-round water supply and that’s why it’s so rich in wildlife. Bird lovers won’t be disappointed. The park hosts over 550 species of bird, including the world’s largest, the Maasai ostrich. (Yes, Tarangire is a small park but it attracts the biggest animals!). You’ll have a great view from the open roof of your sturdy 4x4, so get your camera ready for giraffe, warthog, impala, cheetah, mongoose, buffalo, and baboons. Materuni Waterfall & Coffee Tour Around 20 -30 minutes outside of Moshi are Materuni waterfalls. As this trip is so close by it is ideal for those people with limited time but who would still like to see some of the nature and beauty that this region of Tanzania has to offer. These falls are smaller than the previously described Ndoro, but still pretty impresive at 150 meters high and definitely a sight worth seeing. From Materuni Village we will walk some 30 minutes to the waterfall. The walk itself is extremely interesting, as you will see some smaller waterfalls and lots of waterways which are part of the irrigation system of the local farmers who grow coffee, bananas and many other fruits and vegetables.

Kikuletwa Hot Springs Located approximately 2 hours drive from Moshi town in Chemka; is the hot springs. Hidden by a beautiful green forest lie natural hot springs, ideal for taking a relaxing dip or simply to use as a backdrop for a tranquil picnic or bbq. You will be accompanied by a driver and guide and can spend as little or as long as you like, with the option to camp overnight in this idyllic spot. If lucky, you may be able to spot baboons hanging in the tree-tops above you.
