Yes, you can bring food into Disneyland® Park, as well as Disney® California Adventure Park right across the way. You are also allowed to bring in sealed non-alcoholic drinks. The only catch is that you can’t bring in glass containers or anything that requires heating or refrigeration.

No, there aren’t hotels inside the Disneyland® Park, but the Disneyland® Hotel is in the Anaheim Resort Area, a short walk from both Disneyland® Park and Disney® California Adventure Park. There’s also the Disney® Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, which is closest to Disneyland® Park. Other non-affiliated hotels are nearby.

You can get to Anaheim’s Disneyland® Park from LA by driving, taking public transit, or taking a taxi. The easiest, fastest way is to drive or take a taxi from US-101 South to I-5 South and get off at the Disneyland Drive exit (110B). The cheapest is via public transportation.

Yes. There are plenty of special events and parades at Disneyland® Park. One of the most popular, regular parades is the Magic Happens Parade, which features moments from Disney® stories. Other parades in the park include the Frightfully Fun Parade around Halloween and the A Christmas Fantasy Parade around Christmas.

The best time to visit Disneyland® Park is between September and November (excluding Halloween week and the week of Thanksgiving). This off-season is when the crowds are lighter and attraction and ride lines are shorter. Another good time can be January through March.
