  • The museum has informative panels next to its displays. But be warned, they’re only in French. International tourists can approach the English-speaking staff with any questions about the exhibits.

  • The ground floor is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility, but the upstairs gallery is not. Visitors with disabilities can benefit from designated parking and a special entrance at 54, Rue Claude Bernard. Just ring the intercom to be let in.

  • Children under 12 and jobseekers can visit the museum for free.

  • Children and young people aged 12 to 25 receive discounted admission. The museum is free for everyone on the first Sunday of every month.

  • There’s an on-site coffee shop that serves homemade brunch, lunch, or tea. Le cabinet de curiosité du Sweet Flamingo (Sweet Flamingo’s Curiosity Cabinet) is open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and weekends from 11am to 5:30pm. Walk-ins are welcome and you don’t need a ticket to visit.
