Beautiful boat ride, cool cave and jungle, kayaking was very nice
This was a wonderful experience, the boat ride was beautiful, the cave tour was really cool and even though I am a little scared of caves, the tour guide was very helpful and when steps were a little difficult, he would give a hand and guide you. After lunch, you were given some free time to kayak or swim, so make sure to pack a swim suit and back up dry clothes. Jungle was also very cool and pretty.

Walk on the Wildlife Side
Very good trek in Khao Sok national park, so much to see and experience. Our guide was really good and informative. Water was readily available, and very welcomed in 30+°C. Our excursion started really early in the morning, which we thoroughly enjoyed before more tourists arrived later in the morning. The bamboo rafting was so pleasant & relaxing, listening to the wildlife, and then, by the help of our guide, spotting a Water Monitor Dragon, Amazing! Lunch was "Xr̀xy māk" we had second helpings. The whole excursion was very much worth it, a great half day out. Note: Wear comfortable trainers, take sliders/flip-flops for rafting. Take Sunscreen / Towel & you'll definitely need insect repellent, it's a must.

We enjoyed the trip but...
We enjoyed the trip but would have liked to have spent longer on the raft. Great to see coffee being made via bamboo on an open fire. Interesting stop at Monkey temple and viewing point. Our guide was really informative too. Ultimately a bit touristy but we got to see some of the Khao Sok National Park which is why we booked the trip.

Southern Thailand and Andaman Coast
Two boats exploring the Khao Sok National Park in Thailand.
  • Bring your bathing suit and a towel if you want to swim in the lake; many tours include an opportunity to spend time in the water.

  • You’ll want sturdy shoes and insect repellant to hike through the rainforest.

  • There are a couple of accommodation options and a restaurant inside the park but very little else. In the village outside the park, you’ll find ATMs, shops, and lots of hostels and hotels.
