What are people saying about Kamakura

If I could only give more than 5 stars, I would.
We love Toshi and Masae! We enjoyed our day with them. Masae had been in contact with me about a week before arriving in Tokyo, asking questions etc. she wanted to make sure that she was prepared for us. Toshi made sure that we arrived safely at each location. From the moment we met them they were like family. Our favorite spot is the Hokokuji Temple, it’s so serene and beautiful. We chose Kamakura and Enoshima as our route and it’s a good combination. Masae was very knowledgeable of each and every site that we visited and Toshi also gave us additional fun facts along the way. They are flexible, considerate, sweet and a pleasure to be with. We highly recommend Masae and Toshi.

Awesome experience!
Eric was a wonderful guide. He gave so much good information on the whole tour, even as we passed through different areas. Every part of this tour was awesome. The only thing I would mention is if you have a disability or issue with stairs, there are quite a few temples that have a lot of stairs, but even being on the ground level, there was plenty to see and do. One other side note, if you are a big or tall person, the buses for tours here are very narrow and without leg room. If you worry about that, a private small group would be better for you. Also a big shout out to our drivers, despite the holiday traffic, were able to navigate through different routes to cut what might have been a 3-4 hour traffic jam to only 2 hours.

Great Intro to Kamakura
Hiro was a great guide. We managed to cover all the major sites in Kamakura in only 4 hours. He offered a lot of cultural context and explained a lot of the common rituals performed at shrines and temples. Highly recommend for anyone trying to get a taste of Kamakura in a limited amount of time.

Dive to Kamakura
I only knew about the Great Buddha when it came to sightseeing in Kamakura, but by joining this tour, I was able to learn about Japanese culture through making Japanese sweets, learn about the history of Kamakura and the Great Buddha, and find out about recommended souvenirs. Our guide, Hiro, was very kind and funny, and I especially have fond memories of the lively haiku competition held at the Great Buddha temple. If you visit Japan, you'll be missing out if you don't join this tour.
